Hi @Hannah_Scope I didn't see the twist coming or how it was going to end either and I didn't expect her to bond with two dragons. I'm really looking forward to the next book.0

You're in for a treat once you get used to the writing style. I adore the Dune series. Though I've not read the original in many years. Dune Messiah is a particular favorite of mine.0 -
@c_j When I got to the two dragons bit, I actually shut the book and kicked my legs in excitement! Was like haha take that! lol0

@Hannah_Scope I was like that thinking take that you doubters although I felt horrible when you thought they were going to make her choose between them even though as a reader there was no way they were going to make her choose. She maybe smaller than all the others but she has some determination and strength.0

@c_J I love that Fourth Wing shows that. And that, books about characters with disabilities are wanted and popular. If they made her choose between the two I'd have stopped reading0

@Hannah_Scope lol I think I would have done the same if they made her choose. But what a book I don't really have favourites when it comes to books when asked it's always hard to choose but if anyone asked me now to chose a book Forth Wing will be at the top.
It's the first book about dragons I've read. I can't thank you enough for the recommendation.1 -
@C_J It's one of my top reads of the year. Another you may like is Divine Rivals by Rebecca Ross. It's a YA and it's got a little fantasy a little romance and will be a duology with the second one out in January.
I'm so happy you loved it 🥰1 -
Thank you @Hannah_Scope1

I'm a mills and boon fan plus Josephine Cox. A real romantic0

As a History Buff I have got into Ken Follett & Conn Iggulden, both write novels around historical events. They are a damned good read, & if you are not really into history but enjoy a 'good yarn,' they are educational as events mentioned actually happened around the plots. But also enjoying reading about history I always feel is a collection of great stories, with a few dates thrown in !0

@MickH It must feel refreshing to read. I sometimes get thrown off when I read a book that describes going to the phone to make a call. Lived in the world of always having a mobile for most my life!1
