I can relate about small talk, I don't mind having a conversation if it's about a subject but just random chitchat I am rubbish at and never know what to say lol I maybe seem OK at it here (maybe not) as you don't have to reply immediately but in real life I always seem to leave an awkward silence for what seems like half an hour
I hope you enjoy seeing your friend and Nan
Yeah I'm from Manchester haha

I got a few greggs vegan sausage rolls once in a too good to go goody bag once, I have to admit they are really good. I was impressed with them that they were vegan, always thought they wouldn't match up but they did. Still though can't beat the original sausage roll from greggs.

Thick mist here.
What happened to spring?
1 -
UK weather at the moment: Winter > Summer > Winter > Autumn > Winter > Spring > Winter > Summer

It's depressing @Sandy_123 and @rubin16,so dark and miserable.1
-
Our summers these days are like blink and you'll miss them, we only tend to have one really hot week during the year the rest of the time its either miserable raining or cold.
1 -
Last year it was really nice in April and May,but the so called summer was a complete washout.1
-
Yeah I remember in may last year we had a really really hot week and the rest of the year nothing, we seem to be getting more and more rain as the years go on nowadays.

We've always had too much rain down here, but I honestly can't remember the last time we had twenty four hours without a downpour.1
-
I've just come out the garden looking for any potential wasp nests1
-
I don't think I've ever seen a wasps' nest @Sandy_123,mustn't speak too soon though.
I'm amazed we don't all have webbed feet @Ada.1 -
I have a friend(they don't live locally) who had to pay a fortune to have two nests removed last year @Ada.
I'll never forget my sister stumbling into a nest when we were kids,my father went berserk and almost burned down the woods opposite our house.

Hi @ada I'm ok thankyou I'm doing chores because I've got a busy day tomorrow, finally got my xray in the morning, then my daughter is driving up to say good byes to extended family.
We had bees last year wilko used to do a foam for wasps nest, don't know where I'd get it from now it's gone
I get a lot of wasps nest over the years sometimes they go in stupid places and the rain washes them out @Teigr or I use a foam spray1
