    Morning everyone, its looking bleak out today but found it warm last night while sleeping, didn't sleep too good. Hope you all had a good nights rest.

    Don't have much planned today just have my gastro consultant phoning me this morning so hopefully can find out when I can get on this new medication. I'm on my dose of steroids this week so hoping it doesn't flare again.

    Morning all I hope yous have a good day. It’s dull and looks like it’s ready to rain. I’m getting sorted I’ve got the doctors at 11 then my daughters treating me she’s taking me to get my nails done.

    Good morning everyone

    Very muggy night so I didn't sleep well. Also Percy the seagull started guldering at 3am and that woke me up. Window was wide open to get air so it was really loud.

    He's taken to nesting between 2 chimney pots the last few years across the street and when babies hatch he dive bombs anyone going to the 2 front doors.

    Hi @Lou67 that sounds like a nice thing to do if you like that sort of thing but I heard they make you put your hands in some kind of heat thing to dry the nails and it really hurts?? 😮

    I think it's kind of cute in a weird way how animals will try to protect their babies by taking on something like 20 times their size

    Hi I hope your good. Oh no it’s not painful g putting your hand in the heat lamp it’s actually quite relaxing I think anyway. I don’t go a lot to get my nails done usually for a special occasion or when I’m going on holiday. But my daughter just wanted to threat me today 😊

    I find evolution and stuff interesting, with what some animals will do, especially to protect their offspring, even suicidally

    I guess it's not always about individual survival but survival of your genes

    I know humans often give their lives for causes that are worthy to them but there's a big element of individual decision making there, I guess with animals it's just instinct

    My Mum saw some really cute cushions in Tesco and she couldn't justify paying for them so I bought her them as an early present for having her knee done, now it's been postponed maybe she will need another present?? I will share a picture of the cushions in a second 😀

    I know it means an engineer coming so having another stranger in your house which is difficult 🙁

    Sometimes if it's bad they also give you like £5 or something, maybe even more, just to say sorry
