    @amberpearl so devastating for you, you tried your best for all your cats. They had the best life with you.

    I've been busy today, had a plumber here this afternoon putting new taps on the sink. The others were getting hard to turn. I'm trying not to fall asleep now.

    Hi everyone I hope yous are all doing well, and enjoy your night.
    I’ve been a bit busy today I’m just going for a bath then relax a bit.

    @Amberpearl
    Look after yourself you’re going through a tough time.

    @Sandy_123
    You’ve had a busy day take it easy now and good luck with your blood results.

    @66Mustang
    Hi I hope you’re good. I was reading your post about your mum paying £6 for minutes, the airports prices are getting really bad, on return from my last holiday my daughter came to pick me and my mum up it was her first time picking up from the airport.
    She went to the short stay area as she didn’t know about any other area at the time. Our cases took ages to come out and by the time we got out she had sat for under an hour at the barrier I gave her my card to pay we were shocked I was charged £50 I couldn’t believe it 🤦‍♀️.
    We have since found out there is a long stay area she could have been in but hindsight is a great thing.

    @Beaver79 I'm good thanks. Had another busy day decluttering. Am exhausted but happy now.

    Mr got the plastic mini greenhouse assembled and its a lot sturdier than I expected. Seedling and bulb planting tomorrow weather permitting.

    @Sandy_123 I'm awful to get blood out of... small veins that run deep. They always say that they will take it from the back of my hand but no....its so sore and bruises really badly.

    The only thing that helps is taking loads of fluids before the appointment to plump the veins up.

    Have a good evening everyone 😊

    morning @Ada let's hope they are not long to put those 5g masts up. That would drive me crazy if I couldn't use the Internet. Good luck with the nurse visit.

    Hi everyone! 😊

    Hi @Ada I'm sorry you can't get on, that would upset me as well 🙁 that explanation doesn't sound right to me though - broadband doesn't use 3G/4G/5G masts, it uses a physical telephone line to bring internet to your house and it shouldn't be affected too much by local "traffic"?? I hope you manage to get back online soon though!!!! 😬

    Morning lovely people! Hope you're all doing well today

    Sorry to hear you're still having internet struggles @Ada, fingers crossed it improves soon! And hope your time with the nurse goes alright 😊

    Depends how you connect through the internet. Some have dongles connected to their devices which have a sim card in it and runs the internet through the mobile networks. In which case it would need a 3G/4G/5G mast and if in a valley the traffic on the mast would be extreme as everyone in the valley would be connecting to the same mast for mobiles use. In some cases though where you live this is the better option and only solution to having internet. Some areas don't have fibre anywhere near them yet, and don't have digital telephone lines so would still require a dial up connection to have broadband through the phone line. This could produce a worst speed than using a mobile data network.

    Morning all I hope yous are all keeping well and enjoy your day.
    It’s a damp windy day here I’m sat with my water bottle and a hand warmer as my fingers are really sore.
    That's my moan for the day 😂
    I’m going for my X-rays today just not sure yet what time my son is coming for me.

    @Ada
    I’m so sorry your having so much trouble with your internet, it’s not fair your partner saying he’s happy enough with what yous have just now just because he can get on ok through the night.
    He knows Scope means a lot to you, I hope he at least looks into another option for you. I’m sorry I really don’t mean any disrespect to your partner but I care about you and hate that this is causing you upset. Good luck with the District Nurse.

    Oh I see, thanks for explaining

    I always thought "broadband" and "cellular" were two separate things but put simply are you saying that in some cases people get their broadband from a cellular connection??

    You are correct in saying they are two seperate things, broadband relates to high speed data through a wide bandwidth so is normally done through Wi-Fi, Fibre or through DSL phone lines and satellites. But some have to go through a cellular (Mobile) network to connect to the internet in which it would need a 3G/4G/5G mast.

    3G/4G/5G Networks is still classed as a broadband, but is known as a mobile broadband.
