It's a good idea to call back to check on things @Andi66 . I'm sure I've done the same myself. I empathise with you dealing with DWP on anything @Andi66 , they are horrible people to deal with . I start feeling teary thinking about how people are treated by them it upsets me so much because they are awful people. I send kind blessings and wish you all the best . Take care. I really hope everything goes OK for you πŸ™. Best wishes always ❀️

I'm the same, having Autism is no fun, when things or people get too much I tend to withdraw and want to be on my own, in fact now I prefer it . You can't get hurt, I don't want friends, I have been taken advantage of , and told I'm making it up having Autism fir my own advantage which is untrue and hurtful.

Just because it was diagnosed late, its been a struggle my whole life . Been taken advantage of in relationships this time by a narcissist.

I am now back on different antidepressants, the only ones I want is my daughter, and siblings and of course my cats

I have always attracted bad people too, especially narcissists they just latch onto me. I am also highly empathetic maybe that’s what draws them in.

Not a problem @Catherine21 but we just need to be a bit careful with how we speak about things, as we don't want to upset anyone if we can help it. 😊

@Catherine21 yeah years ago I done dialectical behavioural therapy and we done a whole section on interpersonal skills and we were taught to say no and set boundaries with people. I’ve always had problems with not being able to say no and I’ve always been a complete doormat. Thanks to the therapy I have got a lot better with saying no, and avoiding over explaining or justifying why I have said no. I’ve had to cut so many people out of my life

My dad always used to say "People who mind don't matter and the people who matter don't mind." 😊

There's been a few benefits related things, but it's mostly been ok news I think? Nothing to do with PIP etc, we think that will be coming out in the Spring. I'll need to sit down and read all the information once it's all out.

Everyone's discussing the budget over on this discussion so people wont get too confused. 😊

From my point of view, I'm expecting benefits news in the Spring now. But in a way, I'm happy with that, as it shows they're not willing to make and rash decisions and they're thinking things through and speaking to charities about it all.

I'm the same tend to look for the good in people and treated badly. Been through abuse , domestic abuse , had friends treat me like a door mat, relationship with a narcissistic and a domestic abuser. I now.dont want friends, don't want to go out, don't want a relationship. I have chronic illness which I won't recover from . Can't do a lot like I used to. Have lost my mum, brother and sister since 2017 . Was there when mum died in hospital when they failed her.

I was her carer. I've never got over it, been abused and belittled for having Autism. I'm on antidepressants again. All this worry with what the government going to do just puts a strain on me.

@Andi66 , Sending GIGANTIC BIG HUGS TO YOU TODAY and every single day . My heart goes out to you . I do see some of what you put in your post in myself. Being treated like a doormat is despicable. I'm so sorry to hear how people have treated you . You didn't deserve any of that ever . I'm also so sorry for all of your loss . It's heartbreaking to hear your life story I wished none of these things happened to you . Sending more GIGANTIC BIG HUGS. You to everyone here are 1 in a million. I hope and pray for brighter days ahead πŸ™. God bless you always πŸ™
