I agree with this, I have had another look at my notes, whilst I did offer an opinion that people would be migrated to the new unemployment insurance, I am now not so sure. It clearly states they are going to consult on it, so they are definitely open to making adjustments on NI based plans.

I also didn’t think it seemed too bad . I think it’s all so confusing my brain can’t work it out after days of worry , lack of sleep and not eating. Don’t beat yourself up over it most of us don’t understand what it’s about . I don’t think we are supposed to .

Tories response today was these changes go nowhere near far enough. They urged Labour to get a lot of tougher on people… to which Kendall retorted this is about peoples lives not some boxing event.

as a very low & anxious person trying to keep my head above water helping my elderly parents whilst on esa & pip myself i'm unsure what my position is. I guess all can do is wait for brown envelope. I don't feel strong enough to deal with it all day to day. I love being here with you all.

It looks like the government is doing what they did in Russia and partly in Ukraine - for years they haven't raised benefits for the disabled, but now they are recruiting volunteers for the war, paying 10 times more than the average salary. At the same time, they have greatly reduced the health requirements for soldiers.
Double benefit for governments!0 -
Unfortunately no, I am not a lawyer. But I clearly see that for the government now the disabled are just annoying unnecessary expenses that do not bring profit to the rich.

"Mixing with other people" is my 4 points. Supporting evidence was primarily from GP.
TP is transitional protection, it is a sort of grand fathering process to compensate people for financial losses on changes to benefits. Usually its used to compensate for payment reductions, not for entire loss of eligibility, so I dont know how they would handle the TP specifically for PIP as I assume it would be time limited in some way.2 -
Try to keep your head up. I'm new here but I feel better than I did yesterday when I was having some very dark thoughts. I'm hopeful this site will really help me feel a lot less lonely and catastrophizing everything.
None of us are sure of our position yet because the full details haven't been fleshed out, and it's all subject to change anyway as its scrutinized in both houses by MPs/Lords.
We're all full of fear, uncertainty and doubt.
