I really don't think the proposals will go through, it is bad for the economy , even people on benefits pay tax vat and contribute towards the economy .

They are talking about making half of the country destitute , it will make the already UK recession a depression .

We should be speaking positive because if you look at the proposals they just cannot work.

How many households could adapt and survive having £1000 a month taken from their benefit or wage?

Who will rehouse these people when they get evicted for none payment of rent /mortgage ?

Where are these jobs coming from when disabled people have no chance of getting taken on by an employee , why would they want disabled people on their workforce who will want time off for sick days , hospital and doctors appointments ?

It's not going to work , its a dream labour have and in the past similar proposals were rejected .

Please speak positive , lift your vibration , they hate it .

I think this is the most unpopular piece of legislation for decades and will be fought tooth and nail .Also all the Labour MP's voting will know if they vote in favour of this , it will be the end of their career .

labour mps could end up voting in favour of some of these proposals and later the tribunal quite likely could judge them unlawful.

And 4 years later, labour will be out of power. People don’t forget.

This is awesome news. The DWP is such a god awful institution, it's no wonder they cant recruit work coaches. Plus like most jobs, the pay is too low to justify it. Even if the Tories force these reforms through, they're doomed to fail.

It's almost as if not trusting benefit claimants to be honest about their situation (and not giving a **** if they're doing benefit fraud so long as they aren't hurting anyone else) creates more problems than it solves. It's neoliberalism, capitalism and eugenics doing what they do best.

You're very welcome, I just wish it wasn't so complicated!! 😊

The truly awful part is that Reeves and Kendall clearly know about the chronic staff shortages at DWP/ Job Centres. They’ve threatened and terrified disabled people whilst knowing there just isn’t the staff available to implement these reforms. It’s not just a handful of job centres too… it’s HALF of them! Talk about honest ‘consultation’… this has been a non starter from the beginning.

Individual one to one means There's the Door come back when you find a job goodbye you are the weakest link ..…when there asked this question they will totally deny or say we hired 6 billion to job coaches I actually think they are doing this on purpose they really are

The wealth tax would be the most sane, humane and obvious choice.

The super rich being taxed will NOT cost the super rich their lives.

The sick/disabled losing their benefits WILL cost the sick/disabled their lives.

Simple. There is far too much greed and evil in this world.

You are mistaken, I never mentioned anything about getting a military pension!

This was on the news this morning. So I don't really know how they will implement people finding jobs.

I don’t think it’s ever been about finding us jobs, it’s just to make us suffer. They need a group of people to demonise and humiliate to make the rest of the country feel good.

Please could you ensure that I get a Merc instead ?

BMW's are two a penny - it seems that everyone has at least 2 ever since you offered them.
