HI poppy123456 sorry to jump on here again today i was just wondering whether you could help pleaee I have spoken to my local job centre and declared I do not wish to proceed with my wca as its causing me to much stress I made a major error in work today due to having a panic attack. The job centre said I would have to update my journal to say my health has changed and I'm not fit for work. My question is will this trigger avearly pip review or could it trigger pip being stopped please?

May I just reassure that, as UC & PIP are totally separate benefits, then this will neither trigger an early PIP review, nor end your PIP award, as I believe poppy has previously mentioned.

This is my personal experience, when I had a health change of any kind ( I have MS ) it didn’t result in my PIP being changed or stopped, when I really needed a severe cha fe to be recorded I had to fill in a form called Change Of Circumstance, please may I give you some advice, if you request this form please if you can get a Benefits officer to help and support you, it was 3 forms later before I was offered another health check, this was because I had to have my changes checked out, they would not change anything until they had prove, in my case a GP a MS nurse and my Neurologist all send letters as well as me having an interview and face to face meeting, don’t give up please at last my PIP has been reviewed and changes records leading to me know been able to get a blue badge as well as a plus 1 bus ticket, both have made a huge difference to my daily living, good luck ❤️

HI chiarieds thanks for getting back to me not to come across as thick but the woman from the job cente said I had to update tge health journal to say I have a health condition but it doesn't restrict my ability to work or look for work.
As uc are dwp wouldn't this count as a change of circumstances to my pip claim?

No because PIP isn’t about your ability to work.
Have you already returned the UC50 form? If you have then they may still contact you for an assessment.

HI yes my dad posted theforms of the beginning of this week.
I spoke to my local job centre today and they said the only way to stop it was to update my journal to say I have a health condition that doesn't effect my ability to work. However I'm aware that dwp are uc and dwp are pip so will pip class this as a change of circumstances in their eyes? Any help would be much appreciated

I keep advising that it will not affect your PIP. I don’t really know how else to advise you.
Both benefits are part of DWP but they are different departments and one doesn’t affect the other in a bad way.

OKay thank you I'm sorry I keep repeating myself I've just been extremely worried as I've never been in this situation before. Do you think if I update my journal then I won't b3 contacted any futher for the wca assessment or should I contact them as well please?
0 -
You should contact them because they do not have access to your journal.
Before doing so are you absolutely sure this is what you want? If the worst happened with the WCA outcome it would not affect your PIP.
Less than 20% of people are found fit for work the last time I looked at the stats.

HI poppy yes I think so I've never been so anxious to be honest. .y dad keeps sending things like this to me I know he's only trying to help but every time I make my mind up he sends me more information

Where is that screenshot from please? The highlighted part is not correct!
Can you ask your dad to stop sending you that information because it’s not correct.

Looks like a Google AI result.

The Department for Communities (DfC) is in Northern Ireland.

Hi poppy that is what I've asked him to do he's sending them every half hour and that's one if tge reasons I've been so anxious about it.

Yes but the same rules apply nationally.
Ah thanks, now I can see that.
I’m sorry he’s making you feel so anxious.
