So i had a beer and this happened, its a boba fett  done as a prototype figure, back in the seventies eighties when they were making figures to test the mould they used any plastic that was in the machine, to test for detail and fit of parts, a few have made there way out of the factory over the years and they go for hundreds of pounds, hasbro got on the idea to make replicas of those figures and here we are, i quite like it, we will see if i feel the same when it arrives, lol

So the  fett arrived and i still like it, so thats good, also got a second hand table for the snowspeeder in the room, i can see it better now that its not stuck on the top of the cabinet

Quite pleased with the room, i spend time just sitting in the recliner taking it all in, helps when i feel down, which has been a lot lately, not sure why but the room helps me

@Grinchy I’m glad the room helps, don’t question it, if it helps just keep on using it :)

Glad you still like the new figure @Grinchy!

It's nice to have somewhere comforting to sit when you're feeling a bit low, surrounded by things you like. Sometimes low mood can just appear out of nowhere, and can pass as quickly as it came, but if there's anything we can do to support you, just let us know :)

Cheers @66Mustang yeah it does help, being a bit morbid for a second but my father abused me when i was a kid, and after each session which was awfull he would give me sweets or sometimes a figure, i still have those figures on display in the collection, but i feel no ill will towards them, kind of like i earned them in a weird way, can't describe it, but star wars was always there for me as a kid, glad its still there now, and thanks @Tori_Scope, i appreciate the support, thank you

So i had some cash left from selling my blurays, so i went to ebay and found these two, the boba fett on the left has been a favourite of mine since childhood, an original one from the seventies on a card would be several thousand pounds, i'm happy with the reissued figure here

this is an old figure of mine a copy of an original unpainted prototype of boba fett
Back in the seventies kenner toys wanted to come out with a new toy figure and incorporate a rocket firing mechanism, they had made several prototypes of this figure and were about to go to market when a similar toy from another company caused a child to be hospitalised when they fired a missile and it lodged in there throat, they survived but there was uproar from parents, and the kenner boba fett was shelved.
A few samples did survive in employees collections, and over the years they have come to the collectors market, unpainted prototypes and painted prototypes have been offered, and sold for thousands of dollars, more than the cost of an average 3 bedroom house
I was happy with my replica, Looks the part and didn't cost the earth
