Oh Sandy this is awful news I’m so sorry to hear it, give yourself a few days for it to sink it and I think you should definitely do a MR, I’m gutted for you xx0
-
I've been on to the welfare rights office the are going to do the forms for me. Honestly I just can't believe it. I got a copy of the assessment form and on it it says I can't see to cook ,go out and need help with all daily living activities and then it's contradicted it's self on the main form I just don't understand it xx0
-
Oh it’s shocking a total disgrace what they have been getting away with for a long time, then we need to go through MR stage and most times appeal route, there needs to be something done it is a nightmare of a process xx0
-
I bet Lou I have waited for 5 month for me to be told no xx0
-
Oh I feel awful for you, the day I got my letter I was awarded 6 for daily living, so 2 points short of standard rate, I was so gutted because I had previously been getting that up until February and it really helped me to get help I needed and also to get out anywhere I needed to go by taxi, you’ll probably feel so shocked for a cpl of days, I’m so sorry you have to go through this Sandy xx0
-
hello Lou, Sandy and everyone. so so very sorry for your awful news x just too shocking for words Sandy, appeal asap, we will help you here xx ive just come online had a complete meltdown at a outdoor market at half 2 today, flung my wedding ring told hubby i dont want him and went hysterical crying. not good. ive had tabs and a lie down but still shaking and angry? got to see my doctor monday im so frightened of another nervous breakdown0
-
Oh Kath I’m so sorry to hear this, I hope your doctor can help you more on Monday but hopefully your tablets will help over the weekend, I hope you can calm down a bit and trying relax xx0
-
Aww Kath I hope you feel better soon. I don't really know what the next thing is to do so I phoned the welfare rights for them to do it for me.if they change there decision do you still get the award backdated or do you go from the beginning again ? X0
-
Oh no Sandy if your award is overturned you get paid from the date you made the phone call to claim xx0
-
I thought I had to start again thanks Lou I hate filling forms out but the welfare rights are going to help me over the phone as they are not doing f2f yet .how long does it usually take ? I hope I don't have to wait another 5 month. Xx0
-
The first thing you put in is the mandatory reconsideration, that needs to be done before you can appeal, this is what I’m waiting to hear about Iv been waiting 10 weeks the now, if it needs to be appeal after this it used to take into a year or more, Iv waited longer than that before ?♀️ but Iv heard on here now the waiting time is roughly 38 weeks but hopefully both of our awards can be changed at MR xx0
-
Cricky that's a long time to wait. No wonder everyone calls them the welfare rights are phoning me on Tuesday I think I should have let them deal with it from the start.im thick at filling out forms lol XXX0
-
Oh it’s an awful time to wait, there really needs to be a change the way the whole benefit system is ran, of sorry going into a rant lol yes definitely get help with your forms Sandy xx0
-
No bother you rant all you like Hun I bet they would rant if they had to wait as long for their money lol xxx0
-
Lol definitely, speak tomorrow Sandy trying keep your chin up xx0
-
Thanks Mike I wasn’t to sure but it’s definitely a lot better than the old waiting time. As I waited about a year and a half last time I went through this.0
-
