it does make you feel happy to have joined scope, its been such a helpful forum, and as ive said many times, i couldnt/wouldnt of pursued my PIP claim and in the very dark times, well wont go there, but you have all kept me going im learning to listen, accept that i have conditions that arnt going to get better, but conditions that im trying to help myself with yoga, deep breathing, trying to continue to help others as best i can, mental health permitting, and as my hubby, doc, specialist and few close pals have said, i have to help myself first, hard for me that one, but im determined to get my mind better, learn to switch off when im overwhelmed. all will be as okay as we can make it, always someone, somewhere, far less fortunate. sleep well, stay safe and be kind :)night night x0

Make sure if they turn you down for anything to take things to the court stage, this was the first time I felt I was taken seriously over the whole matter.0

Hi Kath I answered on this so we don’t mix that other thread up lol ? oh have they told you your money will be in tomorrow that’s great news, yeah you should phone your local social care department and ask for an occupational therapist to visit, I got one out to the other flat he gave me a cpl of things that could be moved to new flat, but was told when I moved to a tenancy more suited to me they would come back out and fit some hand rails and assess whatever else is needed, you should definitely phone them xx1
-
Oh yeah Kath that was awful what happened here it was a terrible scene, something you never expect to happen xx0

Hi Sandy how are you today, I hope you managed to get some sleep but I no things will be going round in your head ?♀️xx0

My experience:
DWP on 10th February received my PIP Assessment report from Capita (20 weeks ago).
Capita suggested Enhanced rate daily living and Enhanced rate mobility.
DWP decided ask extra medical records even I supplied DWP with most recent medical records.
Last week placed official complaint against DWP maladministration.
DWP was advised that Covid-19 not affect my case, because they received all papers 6 weeks before lockdown, also my GP issue all records within 28 days. So I believe there no reasons for 20 week delay as paperwork not affected by Covid-19 at all..0 -
Hi and thanks Lou i will telephone them tomorrow, a handrail near my back door would be a great help, also they may advise about shower? cant wait have this damn bath ripped out!! oh the Glasgow incident was shocking, will get told off if i post what news has said so wont. tragic x not long till your broadband0
-
Oh Kath sorry thought you hadn’t saw my post there I just thought we should stick to this thread hope you didn’t mind, oh yeah lots of people can’t get help to have showers fitted if it’s needed, up my old flat I just got the seat that sits across the bath but I didn’t feel confident using it xx0

Lou its my fault, im rambling again!! ive got a brouchure from victoria plumbing yesterday, due to this pandemic, the sale prices are less than half price going to get few quotes and need shower plus cubicle and handrail and seat, the backpay will help x i hope Sandys ok? not seen her post? x0

Lou, is the coffee lounge a seperate forum, im getting confused!!? im viewing posts and some are a week or more old? and then im replying and then seeing that there old posts...help!!0
-
Oh ano I was thinking about her maybe just not been online today, that’s good if the prices are good and you see something you really like, but you should ask the OT about rails and stuff it actually goes good for you when claiming benefits to if they have fitted them, I got 2 points for bath seat and 2 for raised toilet seat, I only found this out when I got help filling in my form this time, sorry again hope you weren’t annoyed at me I just thought if we stick to this chat with each other it won’t mix others up xx0
