Aw hi Sandy and Kath that’s my family just away was nice having them, I’m glad your a bit better today Kath but hopefully after your doctor sorts your meds you’ll be good, Sandy I’m so sorry your still gutted but that’s understandable, it will be like that for a few days, but onwards and upwards if no change at MR stage you’ll get it at appeal I’m sure xx1

Thanks Kath I'm so pleased your feeling better hopefully the welfare rights will sort it out for me.
It's a nightmare having to have my hubby claim for me I've never had any money in my own right for over 10 year and all he gets to keep me is £26 a fortnight it's shocking XXX

Thanks Lou I've waited all this time I just have bide my time.they took what I wrote on my form no notice of what I said to the assessor bit my eyesight has deteriorated loads since February but said I could fill the form in even tho it wasn't perfect I managed to do it in February I was having injections in my eye so it slightly improved for a few hours then went worse it feels as tho i was begging for some help. I hate asking anyone for help.i will see what comes from this stage to see if I will take it further xxx0
-
Sandy That’s awful, you should ask the welfare rights officer to do a benefit check for yous to see if you’s are getting everything you’d should be getting xx0
-
I might do after they sort this out xxx0

Lou have a nice chill now with those feet up :)x its pork chops, roast and mashed potatoes and a big yorkshire pud for tomorrows sunday dinner im having a read, nearly finished good book then bed, Sandy the welfare rights and other websites are worth a good read, keep writing down tips that this forum directs you to, bullet point them, also keep a diary. mine was a 1st time PIP claim. i had dla {got a car} fromthe age of around 19/20 approx and always worked. ive had no income from any benefit since my dla was stopped nov 2018 after a medical that i got awarded no points. devastating, i had to use hubbys wage, not high, and some funeral savings. i wish you all the very best and will help you as much a i poss can, im still in shock tht i was successful getting PIP. I had my local labour MP and case worker who told me to keep going as well as scope members and adrian it is the impact your condition/s has on your safety to carry out certain tasks, impact your anxiety has, ie, isolating due to fear/distress/unable to be in groups of people, impact is the key word. hope i have helped and said the right thing x0

Thanks to you all on here I wouldn't know anything about pip or any benefits to be fair. I've always worked but the last 10 year I have looked after family members but this wet muscular degeneration came as such a shock and came on really quick it's hard to adjust bit when someone who hasn't even met you tells you on paper they think I can cope it's a bit like telling me I'm lying and get on with it it's not nice at all xxx1
-
Aww i know Sandy it’s a dreadful process all of this but please don’t give up it may seem a long rd, but we will all be walking it together xx1
