Im lucky, just had a Costa delivery coffee panini and cake from my daughter1
-
Oh yummy, what a nice delivery for you! I don't go to Costa often, but when I do I usually get one of their fancy hot chocolates as a treat.0
-
@Alex_Scope I’m good thanks, just walked the dog now having an early beer as it’s Saturday

Good stuff @66Mustang sounds like a lovely afternoon, and it's not quite dark yet either. The lighter days are on their way!0
-
Morning all, I was up extra early today to go to the dentist, but they cancelled on me. So coffee and Jeremy vine morning.0
-
Oh dear @Sandy_123 think I would have gone back to bed
I hardly slept was still awake at 530 so no doubt will be having few naps today0 -
I should of gone back to bed, I guess it will be a tired day for us both.0

How is everyone doing today?
I have had a busy week or so but it should be calm now for a couple of weeks until my grumpy family member comes to stay which I’m dreading! I have just been for a walk with the dog and we are going to go out to do a neighbour’s shopping soon so just a normal-ish day for us today. I don’t think I’ll get a drive in today but I’m happy using less petrol, I’m down to 2 tanks a month now which is a big cut on my previous usage and the money saved is very welcome.
I’m sad to see that Woodbine has left the forum. To be honest I didn’t see any bullying, just people disagreeing, however in fairness I don’t read a lot of the forum so may have missed something. I do agree with him that there are maybe 1 or 2 cliques but you get that on all websites and have to just ignore them. I wish him well though but do hope he comes back.0 -
Hi @66Mustang it's good you do your neighbours shopping wish I had a neighbour like that. Its good to get out with the dog too.
Me I'm just tottering around the house tidying, I need todo more excersize.
Has woodbine left, he might return, seems a few just want to bicker most the time on here. Shame really no one is above anyone.
Hope your grumpy relative don't cause you too much stress.0 -
Hi there
Been treating myself buying some clothes online with my vouchers from covid survey for office for national statistics
I don't think woodbine will stay away for long just needs a break and I don't blame him seems he can't say anything without a negative reply from other certain members but that's my opinion0 -
@Sandy_123 you can't win @woodbine was struggling with it as I do but if its better for his mental health and self esteem he supported me through it and I will support him through it sad to see him go0
-
Thanks @Sandy_123
It's not really me doing the shopping, more my parents I just tag along for a trip out haha.
I worry a bit because, and I don't want to blow our own trumpet, don't mean it to sound like this, but my parents do a lot for others but when they need help there doesn't seem to be anyone to help them if that makes sense.
I think I read somewhere but may be making this up, but that tidying the house is surprisingly good exercise as you burn quite a few calories.
I think Woodbine has left as he changed his avatar and his signature but hopefully he will come back.
I hope you have a good rest of the day0 -
@janer1967 that sounds great nice to have a treat. Specially with spring round the corner0
-
@66Mustang it's usually the way isn't it those who help alot. But it's nice still because they get satisfaction from it. I'm sure the neighbour is grateful.0
-
@lisathomas50 he will be back0
-
@Sandy_123 yes he will let's hope it stops0
-
@Sandy_123 yes that is true we also appreciate having nice neighbours and good relations with them. I'm sure the stories online are by the minority but when I read about the bad neighbours it makes me dread ever having someone like that living near me!!

Well wellcome back @woodbine are you OK?
@66Mustang my neighbours are ok except 1 who has a loft full of weed, which joins my loft.0 -
Has that been reported to the police @Sandy_123?0
