That's a shame dad wasn't there, think it's good for dad's to be involved. She has a scan next week0
-
Good morning I'm up ready for the dentist, just hope the busses are on time.0
-
How was the dentist @Sandy_123?0

Ahh nothing too serious (or expensive) then, that's good!0
-

@lisathomas50 would it not be easier to edit your previous post instead of keep posting multiple posts in succession after each other?0
-
@lisathomas50 I think it's important that dad's have an input in every thing too0

Sandy_123 said:@MarkM88 hi Mark I don't see anything wrong in Lisa making more then one post, lots of us do it. Especially when answering several posts
a) creates a longer thread when it’s not necessary.b) you can tag multiple people in one reply and address each person so why do 2 and 3 replies in succession for?c) it’s rather irritating and illogical.d) it’s boosting a individuals post count which seems like some people think it’s a race to do.I wouldn’t mind so much if someone had just forgot to add something and the edit time had ran out. However I’m not been funny here but Lisa seems to do it on every thread and discussion so therefore it’s not just the odd time and it’s becoming annoying, hence asking the question, can she not put it all in one reply.0 -
I'm sorry Mark but I think in this thread Lisa was only replying to Jane then replying to Mike, who we know doesn't like to be tagged. So I'm sorry it annoys you1
-
I’m not necessarily saying she has to tag people but you can still respond to two people in one post. It’s not just this thread though, it’s all over the forum.0
-
I understand what your saying but I don't see it being done intentionally, it's just replying to posts.1
-
Which could be condensed to one. We'll have to agree to disagree.0
-
Yes for sure, how you getting on Mark with your new meds, if you ever need to chat privately or here, just give me a shout.0
-
@Sandy_123 thanks and yeah I started them this morning so it’s going to take a few weeks before I start feeling the impact but in the meantime I am trying to cope.1
-
Yeah they do take awhile hopefully you'll feel the benefit soon.0

I think in an innoccuous thread like this, then many members are not too worried if someone sends replies one after another. However, I agree in general that it can make for lengthy, unwieldy replies. We all do it if there's something you've forgotten to say, or want to add, but usually after another member has commented/replied in between. Otherwise there is an ability to edit a post within one hour, which could be used.Does it matter? Well, with the way the number of posts do indeed 'count' with Scope's system, perhaps. They shouldn't matter, & I'd be all for them not being known, but, as they are, they do somewhat skew things if a member posts one reply after another.2
