You are welcome @Grinchy. Oooh, how have you been finding them? For me, I would say not too brain taxing would only be a good thing but I know for others they want brain taxing0
-
I like a wide variety of films, but i do like the action or horror flicks that usually have a certain formula to them, probably says a lot about me that i like brainless daft fun, lol0
-
Heres my latest steelbook, got in a trade, i like the movies, shame they recast johnnys part after this one, but i'm glad to have this one0 -
thank you @Teddybear12, i will, running out of space for these now, thats never stopped me before, lol0
-
I personally much prefer relaxing stuff! I am sure you can make room for more movies0
-
thanks @L_Volunteer, i will find a space for them, cheers, we went to a family wedding over the weekend and i managed to get away to a CEX store and got this last jedi 4k for less than 8 pound, which is a bargain,

You are welcome @Grinchy. It is the very least you deserve. How was the wedding? I hope you enjoyed the family wedding over the weekend.
I love CEX stores! They do some really good bargains on DVD's, games and CD's. I have heard some really good things about Star Wars. I hope you enjoy watching The Last Jedi0 -
Cheers @L_Volunteer, the wedding was good, it was in Liverpool and we booked a hotel room at the shankly hotel, i went to the daytime then left my wife to mingle for the evening, my anxiety's etc get the best of me in large groups of people, so i just stayed in the room, it was a nice day all round.
CEX stores are ace, had lots of bargains there, i have seen the movie a bunch of times, just didn't have it on 4k, (4K is a fairly new tech, with deeper colours and contrast, supposed to be clearer than a bluray, you need a new 4k player and new tv to view it, i haven't upgraded yet but do plan to) just glad to have it at a decent price0 -
So we went out this morning to a café for breakfast, it was lovely, and on the way home we stopped at a large charity shop warehouse and had a look, i came away with the sopranos complete collection, all six seasons on dvd, haven't seen any of the show before but just thought for six pound it was worth a try, anyone else remember the show?

I did another trade with a collector friend, got this batman coming, the Michael Keaton version, my favourite version, much better than the recent movie, comes with a collectible pin and joker playing card as well as the movie on both 4k and bluray

I've only seen the final scene from the Sopranos @Grinchy, as it's quite famous, but I've heard the series is really good.

Cheers @Tori_Scope, i've heard it is good, not started watching the set yet, so much to watch so little time, lol0
-
So i did another trade at a swap meet, a group of collectors who get together and trade and buy each others steel books and blu rays, never been before, it was nice to chat with other collectors
Got this batman set, the 89 batman the best version in my eyes anyway
comes with a copy of the movie in a steel book, and a collectible pin and a joker playing card,
Also got the meaning of life monty python set, love python, just a bit daft like myself, lol
heres the front
And the rear of the set

Have you started the Sopranos yet @Grinchy?
The swap meet sounds great! What a good way to get some new items, and meet people with similar interests
0 -
Hey @Tori_Scope, no not started it yet, i'll get to it
Yeah i thought the swap meet was a good thing, i'll keep an eye out for more0 -
Is there a way the collectors who attend the swaps can stay in touch, such as through a group chat @Grinchy?0
-
Hey @Tori_Scope, i'm not sure,i didn't really say that much i am a bit shy when it comes to groups, i saw it on one of the facebook groups i'm a member of, i get the feeling it was the last one of a few they had done, not enough interest, which is a shame,0

Hey @Ross_Scope, yeah its a shame, i mentioned if they do any more to let me know, but i trade through the groups to so its not a total loss0
-
Hopefully, they will do more @Grinchy. It is positive to hear it is not a total loss though. Good luck!0
