I've not received mine yet either Thursday 22nd , 😪I understand that we are all eagerly waiting for the payment , it's very hard due to the serge in the cost of living, life is extremely difficult for us all at the moment , the £150 is very much needed and appreciated 🙏 but it will only scratch the surface, hopefully the government will look into this and help disabled people more , I don't know about anyone else but from my perspective it's terrible being made to feel like second class citizens! Fingers crossed the payments will come through for us all soon , at least we are not alone and we are all in the same boat together 💕it's nice that we can support one another here 🤗

Certainly @BOOKIE68. Many, many people are feeling the same way as you, which hopefully makes you feel less alone. It's definitely really tough for a lot of people at the moment.

Thank you for your warm and fuzzy post BOOKIE. Your right £150 does not go far especially when our energy bills have just doubled, food costs are rising and Christmas is sneaking up on us fast. But it helps. I’d like to see a bit more help in the mini budget, but I wouldn’t bank on it. Keep a eye 👁 on this page: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/cost-of-living-payment

it will update when they announce the second payment for the cost of living and that might help ease things a bit better.

DWP are not responsible for administering the CoL payments, the Government are.
I never said DWP I just said DP short for Disability Payment. My point remains some people think they gonna get it later today because of the late payments people have been getting. I was just trying to explain why that was unlikely.

I never said you did, which is why i didn't quote you, i'm sorry you thought differently.  I was just pointing out who makes the payments. I totally agree with you that it's very unlikely anyone would receive the £150 during the day.

That sounds like the council tax rebate that was announced earlier in the year, though it was for £150. Some local Authorities had extra funding and passed this on as extra payments. Details here. https://www.gov.uk/guidance/council-tax-rebate-factsheet

I claim pip for myself and I receive DLA for my little boy.
On checking my bank this morning I’ve received £150 but without trying to sound greedy I thought I would receive that for each of our claims .

Yes you will each receive it but as you haven't received both at the same time, the other payment will be paid on a different day. They don't pay everyone on the same date.

You will likely get the two payments made separately.
