My claim has been live since 14th July but pending in may

I agree the dwp has to agree of way to calculate this payment and probably is easiest to select a certain date and have records of live claims.

But I was in the same boat waiting over six months before they got off there backsides to process my claim and finally back date.

Yet again I'm the one that gets shunted because of there disgraceful administration and back log problems.

No doubt will eventually get it but is not going to be like some I've read on here been saying automatically by the end of this week.

The money will come but many many many need it now given Saturday is when everyone's energy costs go up and typical dwp saying it's helping disabled people when quite clearly very little help but stress is given by them.

All I'm doing is waiting until mid  October and if not in my account then to phone them join the endless queue of people to be spoken too and ask where is it? But pointless expecting it now in days as they are utterly useless.

@userinfo1 I received my payment yesterday along with many other members. Further guidance will be published online for people who have not received their payment, still tomorrow when you might possibly receive it.

The details say "most people will be paid by early October" so it's not late yet and you haven't been missed. For the first CoL payment for those that didn't receive it you could report this online, so i'm sure that you will be able to do the same with this payment if you don't receive it.

I’ve been getting PIP for years now and I still haven’t had the £150. There seems to be no rhyme or reason as to how it’s distributed.

I have read MANY have still not got and only a FEW have just started. It's ironic just called the Pip line automated message and clearly not changed it. Payments from 20th September still hammering on about which we know was nonsense....says payments made early October but come 3rd October if people not got to report it. Surely in anyone's time scale 3rd October many still will be without.

It's a total shambles and blaming the queens death for it just shows how low they go.

A bank holiday was created at very short notice. Obviously that was going to cause disruption

Once again communication non existent so I've been waiting patiently for my COL and seems now cause my claim was pending on 25th may but now live I have to wait longer !!! Department of work and pensions more like department of let's just make it up as we go along
My sons DLA was pending on 25th of May and went live in June. But his payment went in yesterday. So I’m guessing they have a list of over 6 million and they are paying so many a day. Don’t forget this running along side normal DWP payments and I’m guessing there is a limit on how many day the system can cope with. So guessing it will take them about a week to pay everybody. If it’s not there by mid week I would use the link on the cost of living page to raise the issue.

I decided to give my 150 to my wonderful husband 💕 my full time carer my absolute rock , as always carers are completely overlooked, never get the recognition that they deserve, not only saving billions a year for the government , they dedicate their lives to helping others, I chose to give it to my hubby to show him that I totally appreciate absolutely everything he does for me , that his vows he made on our wedding day have never faulted , I want him to treat himself, something that he never does , whatever people choose to do with their money is their decision alone , my wish is that 1 day carers will get the recognition that they do certainly deserve! 🙏🥰
That was so heartwarming to read but yet so true. So many care givers out there who look after partners, children and close relatives while receiving very little money. They do it out of love and duty yet the government try to force them to work despite they are saving them billions. But thank you for making me smile this morning
And as for the pensioners in receipt of the SRP they are prohibited from receiving the Care Allowance! The DWP say that SRP includes a contribution towards the cost of your caring duties.

No they don't. However CA cannot be paid because of overlapping benefit rules. It is no different for people claiming Contribution based ESA who cannot be paid CA.

Help for carers (albeit not much) can be provided to pension age carers through Pension Credit for those who qualify and claim it.

The help is available through pension credit but you refuse to claim it. Again we continue to go round in circles on many threads.

People saying I got mine only makes others panic with not getting there's.
It's showing that payments are continuing to come in gradually, rather than everyone being paid at the same time.  If the 'got mine' posts stop and you still haven't received yours, then that's the time to worry!

Ours arrived this week, and now our Energy account is looking fairly healthy, whereas is WAS looking pretty dire. I think the DWP had to roll it out bit by bit, otherwise the Computer systems handling it would have just melted down. There is also all the Policy bits and the Civil Service work to make it happen, which all takes time.

Sorry but my comment came straight from a DM at the DWP. What you say is totally correct, but they do view the SRP as well as Cont ESA as being inclusive.

Where in my post did I mention my own situation? My post clearly says that you are prohibited from being paid Carers Allowance if you are in receipt of the State Pension fact. Being paid a 'premium' for caring if you claim and are awarded Pension Credit is something totally different.

Ditto and suspect is going to be a call to them demanding to know why. I highly suspect much of it's been an auto based system but many have fallen foul of it. My issue is they awarded me Pip after 6 months of delay and was backdated. Certainly not my fault took so long but backdating means I got the may money eventually paid to me. I highly suspect that is what my issue is
