Has the lawyer forgotten the meaning of the word "discrimination"? Obviously the lawyer is terrible.

When it comes to pip review, you simply have to explain if your disabilities have progressed. Then further explain where you feel you should have scored higher

oh wow . Yes that’s what my last assessor did to me . Concreted on questions that only awarded 2 points for that answer even if I should have got 4. Now there will be ppl at tribunal for that 4 points . The assessors are crafty they know as long as you get your award you don’t care about how you get those points .

The freeze means it isnt going down, it will just stay at its existing level, so even if you were to migrate after April 2026, you wont be worse off.

I am thinking that mobility is completely separate from the conversation about 4 points. I am pretty sure she said that it didn't affect mobility, and that the 4 points were required on one criteria to qualify for daily living section only.
Not that that is necessarily great but honestly when I first heard it I thought it meant 4 points on everything to qualify for anything so in comparison to that it's not as bad as it could be.
Catherine, if you have 4 points on any of the daily living criteria then your claim would still be the same, it depends how all those points you have for daily living add up across different criteria. If you don't, this will probably be reviewed when you next are assessed but not until that point. At present there doesn't seem an intention to review anyone mid-award, so if your next check isn't till 2030 or 2032 then it will happen then. IF these plans are adopted. And if I'm understanding it right.1 -
That is my interpretation of the plans, it is possible my interpretation is wrong.

Anyone currently in the process of migrating from legacy benefits to UC, do you think payment in anyway will be affected by this announcement?

What is the end date of the award? The green paper does say existing awards will be honoured. So what you have now should be locked in until your next review is completed.

do you know when the last legacy benefits are due to go over ? Cos surely it can’t be that those still not migrated get a lower rate

I’m the same, I’ve just had my review and got 3’s but as I passed I left it too but next time I will get letters from gps & consultants and get help filling the form in, I have a degenerative disease amongst other things so il never get any better, just worse

hello, please can someone help me, I currently get LCWRA? No pip and I’m 23, will be 24 in July. I got lcwra in December last year, will I have my money taken off me or cut? When will this be, I know it’s not a definite but please I need some assurance I can’t figure out what it means for me. I’m going out of my mind x

I cant offer an opinion on what the result of your review will be, but you will be getting reviewed under the current (old) rules. The green paper is plans, not yet current legislation.

Same for me. I was put in the NS ESA support group last year because I was blind. There is no end date and I was told I wasn’t expected to find work and my condition would not improve (eyesight).

make sure you record it . They’re crafty and will try and stop ppl from getting 4 points

Could they change their mind on the starting of LCWRA reassessments again or is it set in stone?
