problem is their recording equipment can suddenly fail . I asked and dwp also asked for them to record mine over phone . They called me just beforehand to tell me the assessor didn’t have equipment and blamed dwp as they made the appointment which the dwp denied.

Well they can't dispute it then . I was put on topiramate that has helped with the pain my head .never a pain free day but some are more manageable

so you should get your form a good few months before that . You should surely be assessed under the current rules . Plus of course she may not get to implement the 4? Point rule yet

Hope it's ok to say this.
I've noticed a change over the past couple of days - both in how I feel and also on this forum. Like many, I'm not embarrassed to admit I've been physically ill following the announcements and the worry of what might come.
Anger's not a good thing but it's needed sometimes to feel strong.
These reforms are not Law yet and there's a lot of strength going around now, including coming from my chair as I write this 😀0 -
Normally your review will start before end date, so hopefully it does for you, but they do currently have a back log which makes it less certain. I think it only needs to start before the cross over date, if I am right once review is started it will use the same rules all the way to the decision.
Also my review date was about a month before I actually received a letter, review form arrived late May, but my review apparently started in April.0 -

Benefits & Work Forum have put up 'the new proposed PIP test'. It's under their 'news section'.

it's worth considering getting your own version. Not just for DWP but useful for a lot of stuff esp if you struggle with memory issues

O fingers crossed then

next time I’ll be buying a dictaphone. Last time I was told it should be a short assessment or light touch . It was the short review form so wasn’t expecting the Spanish Inquisition I received. Over 2 hours long for conditions that can’t be cured or improve for me after so many years . She kept saying I need to asked everything so they don’t call you back , when I hear of others get a quick call .

O thanks , fingers crossed then

At the start of my Assessment, the Assessor said 'My name is XXXXXX XXXXXX, I'm calling from the Department of Works and Pensions. When the Assessors are trained, they are trained on all the stuff they shouldn't do, but on how they should do it. The Assessor had 'zero empathy' was like a 'robot', was about to laugh at one point, but stopped himself. Lets say he left the Assessment company.

I don't know if this would help as I haven't gone through a re-assesment myself yet but on the application would it help to just fload them with tons of info - getting really explicit and blunt about how just how you struggle but giving examples and how it impacts on you, somoene else suggested attaching your GP notes (you can download online or act them for a copy) wiht reports from counsellors, specialists, carers, friends/family who help you? Might reduce the amount of questioning if they are overloaded with infomation?

why I also think this will affect everyone on ESA contribution based it’s cause they haven’t said anything about any changes to a health assessment for those on ESA contribution based support group.

We are entitled to all test results. Subject Access Requests. Strangely they advise it could take 28 days to provide these and there might be a charge 🤔
I have photos of my spinal surgery.
Why are these things so restricted when they are about us?… hmmm1 -
