it was just the benefits and work website. No interviews or anything. I don’t know how to post it here for you as I’m not that good at that but you can read it on their website. It sent me into a panic but mawempathy explained things and it put my mind at rest . I don’t know if you saw my earlier post about the justice journals latest video regarding ASD. Apparently she helped someone with autism who was found cured by the DWP! The woman who does the channel worked for the dwp and took them to court .

it’s worth looking on their website and joining as they send updates by email. This government is truly evil. Jeremy Corbyn gave a good interview on sky news. He said labour MPs have started talking to him suddenly and they’re upset at what’s going on . Fingers crossed they’re brave enough to stand up for us

Their figures don’t make sense to me, if I lose my daily needs pip I get disqualified from all the other health benefits so that will be nearly £10,000

he spoke up for us outside as did McDonnell. Also Jeremy spoke on sky news saying Labour MPs are now talking to him and they’re upset aren’t happy

There will be lots of knock on effects. If someone loses PIP, their Carer will lose CA, and be required to look for work, of course this will be on top of still caring for the disabled person because removal of PIP won't change the person's needs.
People will lose Housing Benefit, discretionary payments, exemption from Bedroom Tax, Council Tax payments will rise.
These changes will affect whole families (Certainly in my family) and so many will be pushed into poverty as a result.8 -
Words fail me . Shame on labour . So many lives will be lost due to these ill thought out decisions .

Totally agree Danny, this afternoon has reinforced my belief that there is NOTHING that can be done because only a handful of MP'S are against these proposals !!!!
Today has shown us the lack of support AGAIN from members of parliament.
Labour will have no problem 'pushing through' all of these cuts and changes, simply because there aren't enough MP'S that are against it all.
A mere handful of MP'S challenged reeves on these proposals, just nowhere near enough.
Many of us are facing destitution but MP'S are getting another pay rise.
I'm done, I'm not emailing anymore because my MP can't even be bothered to acknowledge my email.
If you don't work...you don't matter. That's it in a nutshell.
They want more suffering and deaths of the sick and disabled because it will save more money.

'50,000 children will be pushed into poverty as a result of the changes to welfare - and a total of 250,000 peopleThat's according to the Gvt's own impact assessment.'
Several Labour MPs already expressing their disquiet.

@pinkrose "Well....again , we've heard the same rhetoric......it's all about 'working people', and getting ('forcing') disabled and vulnerable people into 'work".
Unfortunately this applies to the over 60s as well who may have worked 30, 40, 50 years already and now cannot due to ongoing and additional age related health issues . Yet they keep putting state pension age up, and for women of a certain age who started work in the mid 1970s (on much lower wages than men) we have had 7 extra years (come 2026 when it goes up to 67) added which is completely unfair. We are kept stuck in this system and processes and forced to work, job search, go on pointless courses, retraining etc . Many of us will never work again because we are unable too. If we do work we certainly wont work full time or earn enough whereby we continue to pay tax.

Will any of this actually stand up legally? I mean where is the line between reforming and discrimination? Labour have to adhere to their own Equalities Act 2010 do they not?

Yes, they’ve conveniently neglected to mention anything about CA. I doubt many people outside of those in receipt of PIP or AA will know how that world be impacted at the loss of them. That means the financial loss will be far worse than they’re suggesting.
I couldn’t watch it all, but we’re not any clearer what’s happening to those on CB ESA(old style) Support Group are we?

How will the UC basic raise work with ESA? will everyone get that extra £28? because if the LCWRA is frozen does that mean no one in that group will see a raise over all as the deductions kick in?
