    Well spotted. 👌

Rachel Reeves behaviour is sickening although completely predictable, for a malignant narcissist, as I've discovered by researching online.

For all of you who think to yourselves, "I don't know how she sleeps at night" here are the reasons why she will be sleeping soundly. 😳

They Are Ruthless in Their Pursuit of What They Want

Malignant narcissists will often be ruthless in their pursuit of power, wealth, success, or recognition. When they want something, there may not be any line they’re unwilling to cross to get it, even at the direct expense of others who they say they care about. They may lie, manipulate, use, or even discredit people in order to get what they want.

    Mocking the weak

Taking pleasure in the vulnerability or weakness of others, often as a means of asserting control.

    They Don’t Have a Conscience

A lack of empathy or regard for the feelings of others is a symptom of malignant narcissisim. People with this personality type will often have no remorse or regret for things they’ve done that have caused harm. Sometimes, it may be necessary to fake remorse in order to get what they want. However, typically they will admit no wrongdoing at all and genuinely don’t feel bad for their behavior.

    Nothing Is Ever Their Fault

Narcissists (and especially malignant narcissists) usually do not take the blame for any of their words or actions, even when they’re clearly in the wrong. Instead, they tend to lash out, get defensive, and find ways to blame other people, even when they have to bend and distort the truth to do so.

Wow… what a fitting terminology for Reeves. Watching her deliver that Spring Statement was like witnessing a masterclass in calculated indifference. The sheer audacity to gut welfare support while spinning it as “fiscal responsibility” is sickening. These cuts will leave thousands struggling, yet she carries on as if it’s just another day at the office….no empathy, no accountability, just relentless pursuit of an agenda that punishes the most vulnerable.
Malignant narcissism? Absolutely. There’s no remorse, no hesitation-only a cold, strategic dismantling of support systems under the guise of tough economic choices.

    &

when the fallout hits, we already know the script: deflect, deny, and blame someone else😡.

Very insightful; your comment regarding being 'academically gifted' reminded me of my Assessors' report stating that I was 'very articulate'. In my appeal which went to Tribunal after MR. I stated I was not claiming because of a health problem with my tongue/ability to speak nor because of a problem with my brain or intellectual function (I do have a tendency to say it as it is/not mincing my words). Utter fools some of them.

Help please! Last week someone posted the questions in the consultation so we can copy and paste before filling in the actual form online.

I can't find them! It might have been in the Green Paper discussion post but there are 100 pages to go through and I can't find it by searching.

I've done my letter to MP and want to get cracking on the consultation now. Thank you x

It's continually frustrating as hell how the media isn't talking about how linking the lcwra UC benefit to a toughened pip assessment will mean many who never claimed pip will probably end up with basic UC and conditionality! And still not able to work! And no one mentions the targeted reassessments for the at risk catagory!

I'll end up losing my home as I already can't afford my rent, food, bill increases including council tax that gone from £27 to £68. Universal credit and PIP is an absolute struggle so how the hell are we to cope? I'm single, live alone and have no family or support network. No one to talk to about this and anxiety has sky rocketed. I don't know what to expect and my PIP award is only until Feb 2026. I will lose everything. Where am I to go?

I’m in the same situation, I’m trying so hard to stay positive but I can’t see a way forward anymore.

    That's great, thank you 🙂

List of questions is at the end so I've copied them into a doc so I can work out my answers before typing them in online!

Agree. There's a lot they're not talking about.

II sent my letter to my MP yesterday and I've put in about things not being said.

HaHad to put everything down and then keep amending it!

Questionable as to whether he'll read it or not though.

His automatic response already states that it's unlikely correspondence will be read by himself because he gets so much 😡

If I get a reply it will probably be from one of his lackeys.

For what it's worth I'm totally with you there. Im in exactly the same situation.

I haven't got anyone I could stay with.

I'm going into a Crohns flare now with all this stress. Meds are not working. I've been doing quite well last few months too 😢 I'll end up costing the NHS more now.

For what its worth I'm sending you a virtual hug 🫂

What we need are Ministers to resign, we need Unions to say enough.

GMB without doubt are the only TV show really pushing this, Even Eagle has buckled

rumours, Grumblings are worthless. MP's and politicians within Scotland and Wales need

to say no they cannot and will not support this, waiting till the summer to create the white paper (the thing MP's will vote on) it just window dressing.

If the Story is correct Starmer is planning a reshuffle and people like Nandy and the Education Minister are going to be sacked, Kendall only got the job because Ashworth lost his seat

Feel 100% the same like a sitting duck, I knew they were going to be tougher on Welfare

but if someone had told me they would be worse than the Tories, The total denial about the impact of Covid the mere fact they are fudging numbers from 2010-2024 to make it look worse is nothing short of despicable.

amazon made 28 billion they paid 18 million in Tax apparently, there's a story flying around t

cool Trump down they will look at this tax again. If correct they are not even being subtle

its blatant whatever the rich want they can have. Truly what is the point of this Labour?

    What a brilliant reply.👌

That is a spot on analysis. 👏 My favourite part was

"Watching her deliver that Spring Statement was like witnessing a masterclass in calculated indifference."

As you say, we will see her get her comeuppance, the sooner the better. It will be a different story to us when this happens.

Disabled people could give her a masterclass in courage, dignity and resilience. 💪

She would only be capable of a cringe making performance of cowardice, tantrums and a toe curling meltdown due to a total absence of character. 😭

Let's hope her downfall is a spectacular one. Nobody deserves it more. 🤗

I still don’t get why they are targeting the at risk category, are they trying to remove us from that group. Confusing as hell!

Not sure she will even see it but just send the 1st Minister of Wales

a detailed breakdown of everything wrong with Labours stance on disabled people

and told her maybe its time for blunt speaking, Scotland was just starting to give Labour some trust they blew that again, Wales is heading the same direction.

The way Starmer and Co are acting does anyone really think they care about anything outside Westminster. Morally everything from Kendalls statement to Reeves is repugnant

the way this is dropped as many other Labour leaders say they cannot support it and wont support it. The very worst Starmer is forced to resign and hopefully a Govt will emerge one that actually understands what needs to be done, Because right now Reeves only has one plan to keep cutting as needed.

Good Evening, my name is Dòmhnall or in English Donald. I’m struggling tonight with my mental health, I won’t lie that’s for sure. The recent decision by the Labour Government to go after vital benefits has knocked the wind out of me, I have had to put a strict budget together so that I know what my incomings and outgoings are. I’ve been worried about the migration from ESA to Universal Credit, but I’ve been reassured that won’t be happening as I am in the Support Group based on income. I’ve still not had word whether my PIP is going up or down, the same with my Universal Credit. I really feel for every single person with a disability in this very very hard and unsure time. In the space of almost five years, I’ve done from working as a Support Worker to now having the tables turned and now being a Service User living in an adapted supported living flat. I’ll be honest I struggle to make peace with both my Mental and Physical Disabilities. When the darkness sweeps in like tonight, I don’t take my Antidepressant’s and just shut down. Doesn’t help I’ve got a video call with the Job Centre tomorrow! I’ve still not had a notification to say to update my Housing Costs, been told to wait until the 7th of this month. I’ve just closed out all of my friends and become a recluse. I just feel like a shadow of my former self, just don’t trust the helplines or mental health teams after poor treatment.

Hang on in there. It's all overwhelming right now but one day at a time can help. Get the stupid video call over with and you'll feel a little better. I know about closing down and going into yourself, it's a protection strategy but please do take your anti depressants - we need all the help we can get. Good luck for today

Thank You for your kind words Julie, I just have one of those nights where I just say to myself “Why Should I bother if others can’t be” but I’m a grisly old celtic viking that refuses to give up no matter the obstacle or challenges thrown in my way. I have for 41 years, taken the boxes down in my head, worked on that and then moved onto the next. I’ve stopped trying to run forward and instead I’m just shuffling slowly through each day, by blocking out friends I’ve kind of now closed the door and been able to focus on myself more and have deleted all of my social media accounts.
