You would need to ask Scope
I am not a moderator for them but a fellow disabled forum member.
Personally I do not trust a single word Liebour say so if Scope did get them to engage with this community I would rather watch paint dry than give my time of day to them.
As far as I am concerned they hate the disabled community and their ridiculous cruel welfare reforms have told us that loud and clear.

Maybe worthwhile all of us filling this in??👍️

Disability groups 'stepping back' over benefit cuts.

just cannot comprehend how this is even remotely possible.

@Katrina65 I feel defeated at times with everything that's going on at the moment. We really need our voices to be heard now more that ever. There's days I think all these proposals are a done deal and I just need to accept it.😔

very evil - -first they targeted elderly who are just £1 over threshold for winter allowance (they could at least do different levels)
now they are targeting disabled… i know 100% fact i will not be able to keep my job with cuts…. hard enough paying for care and friends to stay overnight to keep me save and then i wont have money at all to survive.
heres hoping we can all fight against the chances as even my friend will loose pip under new rules and he needs a daily carer to wash and prepare food for him - without that he will stink of ….human waste… same as me - i would stink… we would be jobless! - DLA/PIP are to help disabled - many of which want to work or use it as care to be able to do any work.
all i know is if its just standard UC amounts (losing the UC health elements by 50% and losing PIP etc — i know know i wont live through it… and thats what scares me - even now i struggle month by month and my Dr referred me to a food bank because i ran out of money due to high bills.. i work part time as much as i can even though they said i shouldnt but i HATE being at home doing nothing so i try keep myself busy.. yet seems we are treated like 4th class citizens — and people on news articles just misunderstand as wellsorry this is more of a rant.. —-will be sending the links to fill them forms in to all my friends we MUST FIGHT THIS! - feel so betrayed..
the ONLY way i would support these cuts is if they had a 100% cure for EVERY SINGLE disability out there - there isnt… sadly.. and living with disabilities costs more to live

today i spoke with my wifes CPN - community phychiatric nurse…
she said - no way is she able to work ….
at the moment she scores a 4pt for prepping a meal (total 13pts = enhanced rate) …. 👍️
she only scores 2pts for mixing with other people (should be 4) as she wont interact unless i'm with her or her CPN ….
we've never appealed her award because the higher rate was awarded but going forward we'll be looking to score at least two 4pts (belt and braces approach)
pip review isn't until july 2027 but she's drafting up a new care plan and will do another closer to july 2027 to emphasise here struggles in mixing with other people.
the fight back starts 💪

(New information on public consultation events and accessible formats added on the green paper proposal official homepage)
I’ve done my best, with my limited IT skills, to add these links here. I’m sure Scope will be able to circulate this more effectively, but I just wanted to make sure everyone is aware ahead of time. There are also many other documents available on the official homepage, so please do take a look. I’ve only included the links that are directly relevant to our ongoing discussions.
In my view, these events offer an opportunity to hear directly from the source what is being proposed. This can help us challenge these ruthless proposals more effectively by responding to the consultation in a structured and informed way.

So it's a few weeks since the disability changes announcement. I feel like I been in a car accident and I am walking around looking at the crushed car waiting for the pain to start. So what's next? Is there some sort of schedule that will follow and we can make more sense if the impact. Or is this going to be a silent and very personal experience following that day you receive a letter to say everything you get stopped. I am in the dark here looking for some light or direction on how to move forward. Help!

I'm glad to hear that being in the Community has made all the difference to you. 👌
I'm sure that you were given another chance by Scope. They know they have disabled people in great mental distress who really need every opportunity to access this forum so they would try very hard to see past your meltdown, it could happen to anyone on here, including me, so I hope you don't blame yourself too much for it. 😊👍
They know that what we are going through with these evil proposals would be enough to make anyone with perfect physical or mental health have a breakdown of some kind, never mind what it'll do to us! 😱
It's great to know that they are so sympathetic and helpful and have truly got our back. 💪
I can really relate to you, I'm with my partner now but I have two failed marriages behind me. That goodness I'm with a genuinely good man at last. 😌
I can relate to autism too. I've had terrible problems with functioning in the outside world and with other people. My partner suspects that he's autistic too and I would say that he is, definitely.
I tried to get a offical diagnosis of it some years ago. It was all going really well, the women from the (then) Aspergers team who dealt with me had confirmed it without doubt and that my Dad was autistic too, which I was convinced he was too. My Mum was by then convinced that we both were.
Things then took a nasty turn. The Care Co-ordinator who dealt with me with this was, I'm afraid to say, a nasty piece of work. She said that for my actual diagnosis that I would have to see the head of the Aspergers Team. She was unpleasant too and completely dismissed everything the other women had said and I didn't get an the diagnosis.
As you probably know yourself, some people get into healthcare because they genuinely want to help people and others just want control those same people and set them up to fail. 😔
That's just my own story so please don't be put off getting what diagnosis you need. You are going for an ADHD test so, good luck with it, 🤞🍀 you don't have to end up as I did with the autism diagnosis!! You say that you are 100% autistic, I hope that means you had a successful diagnosis. I certainly believe that I'm autistic, diagnosed or not. 💯 Sadly it was too late for my Dad anyway, he died at the age of 85 three months after my failed diagnosis. 😢
What the government are doing is breathtaking sadism as far as I'm concerned. It does make you want to have nothing more to do with society, I agree but from what I can gather, there are many more people out there than ever before who are on our side after hearing just how vicious these proposals are.
The media have unwittingly helped us as they have really put Reeves on the back foot, when confronting her about the damage it will cause us. As far as I'm concerned they are only doing it because it's something to bring Labour down with, they'd have never done it to the Tories, but it's played into our hands and got a lot of information out there about just how badly we're being treated for a change.
Not everyone in this country is as morally bankrupt as the government and the fact that these cuts are so deverstating and are going to affect such a large number of disabled people plus really impact our family and friends, I'm convinced that Starmer and Co have really bitten off more than they can chew with the British people.
It's going to be a very long wait to see what happens, which really does defies description, of the impact of just that alone is going to have on us but PLEASE don't give up. 🙏 It is SO well worth seeing what is going to come of all this. There is still a great deal to play for.
Do take care of yourself xx 😊 You've got this! 💪
