If Labour don't do well in the council elections it will send a message to them that the general public are not happy with them.

I don't think MP's lose seats in local elections , I think counsellors can gain more local seats , I am not good at politics , but I do know my MP is going to vote for the cuts , and we are poor town with high poverty especially children , so she won't go down very well .

I am currently looking at what the timescale is for court action for not paying mortgage shortfall after as support for mortgage interest doesn't pay the whole interest so if i lose pip and carers we would have to live off universal credit and lcwra .

You should get a review form first. Then later after you've sent it off, you'll get a review. No idea what sort. Ask for a paper review if you have enough evidence.

I had a form last year to fill in last year and i scored 10 points for not being able to go to unfamiliar places. I sent that off & is all i have other than my gp

It should say on your award letter when you are due to be reviewed. Have a look and see what it says I'm not sure why Maximus have contacted you so soon.

I had a mandatory reconsideration in 2020 that i won then the letter last year i sent off. I guess all i can do is wait and see. Should i start a separate thread about my issue as this thread isn't about me. Thanks.. I'm so anxious..

We are all very scared and anxious, not knowing what is going to happen to us all. Its just chronic stress every day. I would just wait and see if they give to an appointment or if its a paper review. There's not really much else you can do at the minute

PIP (Personal Independence Payment) assessments are typically conducted by private companies contracted by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP). These companies include Maximus, Capita, Serco, and Ingeus, with specific regions assigned to each. The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) may also conduct some assessments directly.

The stress of all this is unbelievable for us isn't it 😔

I've been unwell for the last couple of weeks and now have a Crohn's flare too. I also fell down the stairs ten days ago - cracked some ribs and severely sprained ankle - black and blue all over my body.

I'm pretty sure it was because I wasn't concentrating properly - I can't focus on anything as my mind keeps drifting and I was worrying about stuff as I came down. Missed the rail and slipped .

I was hoping to put my name down for a flat on one level but that won't happen now with the cuts.

Anyway, I've now cost the NHS extra money with ambulance and treatment. This is what they're doing to us and it's just the start. 😢

MW, of course they are linked. I haven't suggested otherwise. This is about working-age, disabled claimants.

You don't know what I'm talking about which is fine.

Fight the PIP battle if that's something you know about. How the DWP twisted the Incapacity Benefit/Income Support/ESA reassessment rules matters more than ever or I wouldn't be doing this. What divided the Mental Health community 10 years ago didn't just go away.

YOU are missing the point, now leave me be.
