I don't think Scope will mind it too much, it's a good lookalike of her (and very funny) , I'm sure NO10 don't have cabinet meetings if she attends, more like a coven sat around their cauldrons brewing up evil schemes against us, double, double, toil and trouble Liz Kendall burn, and cauldron bubble😆

We all need a laugh at times like this Martin, especially with these clowns in office.
Keep well.😊

I have decided to wait until it's made law and deal with it after that. I written to my MP and others and sign petition . There nothing more I feel I can do now.

This means they must know it will leave us destitute.

I think it’s the one pic of her that may be ok to post 😂. It reminded me of a favourite film Horror Hotel . I’m sure Catherine will know 😂

I could be wrong but I think they slyly mean instead of the 5 week wait for basic uc they’ll continue to give us pip . Same as now , when you transfer over from legacy you get an extra payment of esa legacy after you transfer . But how can we legally claim uc and agree to job searches when we know we can’t ?

Sky news political commentator says we will be given more time to prepare and to claim other benefits, what are these benefits?
Just shows they haven’t got a bloody clue, speaking utter nonsense

I don’t know how this will even work out . If I lose pip and automatically lcwra I then have to apply for uc basic and agree to job searches. I physically cannot sign up for that as I’m either resting or sleeping most of my time. So what benefit would I claim ? There isn’t one . I think they mean once we lose pip we get TP while we wait for uc basic to kick in . So maybe one extra payment as they do now for esa legacy going to uc lcwra

Hi all,
I haven’t yet filled out the consultation but I just had an idea that when I do I will suggest actual descriptors for fatigue as for those of us suffering from ME, fibromyalgia, long Covid and MH fatigue is a major symptom. I think it may be a good idea to write to them again. I know they don’t care but an actual descriptor for a main symptom of a lot of conditions would help us .

I'm creating a new character called Little Miss Loathsome (from the Mr.Men books by Roger Hargreaves) I'll post it on here when Iv'e done it. Give us all a laugh hopefully.

Hello everyone,
Please remember to keep in mind our house rules.
We'll be tidying up this discussion over the next couple of days as it's important that people who want information relating to the Green Paper are easily able to find it.
All the best,

Hi Catherine, has it been on news or elsewhere about them delaying the vote in June? I might have missed it as I try to avoid certain news media (due to lies etc) Iv'e looked on Benefits & Work site but can't see anything on there either, only about Starmers 'tweaks' to give us more time……for what exactly, having a cupper, changing the bedding?????? The man is deluded and so out of touch with reality, he'll be gone by end of year, his own party hate him, can't wait until he flip flops off.

Hi Catherine,
I just emailed her . I think part of the problem, for me anyway, is the descriptors are vague and not aimed at particular conditions. With people suffering from long Covid , ME etc fatigue is a major symptom. I think I’ll email the other clowns again too .

You will find that is a narcissistic trait, the assumption that as we are disabled, either physically and/or mentally plus we are unfortunately, completely dependent on them for our income that we are too weak and would be too shocked by the sheer scale of the cuts that we would be easy pickings and they wouldn't get much resistance from us.
How wrong were they!! ✊
They didn't realise just how much we would mobilse, because we have had to. We are not just getting smaller sized cuts as we've done in the past, they are cutting huge amounts of income from us so we have had to find our resistance to them from somewhere, however ill we are. They really underestimated us. 💪
We have thrown everything we can at getting the truth about the impact of the proposals out there to everyone who can make a difference, to conteract the constant gaslighting of the government leadership.
They are an insult to our intelligence and to that of DPOs, backbench Labour MPs, Amnesty etc. They carry on in their own little world of great entitlement not knowing just how idiotic they look! 🤪
I agree that you really do have to be very discerning about what type of media you take information from and make sure that you look at a lot of different sources while you are choosing.
It's said that what comes around goes around and I also believe that Loathsome Liz and Co will eventually reap what they have sown.
I hope that they go down as badly as possible and I'm glad that we will be such a large part of that fall in opposing them in a way that I believe, they never expected us to be capable of doing. ✊

Hi Charlie,
I think it’s extra time to claim other benefits ( uc basic I think ) or make other arrangements. So transitional protection. I think there’s a post on the forum somewhere.

Okay thanks, Iv'e misread what it meant, so they'll expect us to sign new U.C commitments after losing PIP & LCWRA , look for imaginary non existant jobs, make us believe we're no longer ill and disabled overnight so the government and DWP can say, told you they were all putting it on they're looking for work? I for one won't be signing any new commitments and i'll be telling them to say I'm fit for work would be a lie, dangerous to myself, and aslo discriminatory for failing to recognise my illness.
Good luck to them…….they'll really need it!!

Hi Squirrel 🐿️
I thought you meant the SEND children.
Some of the disabled children will benefit from the scrapping of the two child benefit cap, that's when they bring it about as all they have done is talk about it and postpone what they want to do with it until October. 🙄
As its been pointed out about a 100 babies are born everyday to whom that cap will apply to, so many thousands more will be added to those already impoverished by it, by October. 😔 Isn't it evil.
Talking about being evil Starmer and Co are not letting the disabled children have a decent start in life. They want to withdraw the support for everyone who is disabled, whatever age they are.
Fancy spoiling the life chances of a child by taking away their educational support and putting them in a mainstream school, which is just not suitable. It's along the same lines as withdrawing our support and making us go to the jobcentre as they are doing with us.
They are much more likely to be bullied by other children and be picked out and upset by unsympathetic teachers who can't (or won't) understand the challenges these children have got. 😞
I can just see it, the disabled child grows up to be unable to work, they are summoned to the jobcentre and ends up being sanctioned by a playground bully whose by then is the work coach!
There really is no way to describe how this country is going. We have got to keep fighting to make things better than this to make government realise that we are a force to be reckoned with, that we will keep making their lives more difficult if they persist in keep attacking us. ✊
