Am I safe ?
I got 2 descriptors with 4 points + numerous other 1's, 2's and 3's - total 20 points daily living
plus 22 points mobility
For 10 years from 2023 - I will be **** when I am reassessed !
I like to think that come 2033 - I will be reassessed with a "light touch" ?

Hi Squirrel 🐿️
I couldn't quite understand what you'd put down, I must admit. I know what that's like, with brain fog and wonder if the community may be too polite to tell me that my posts my be somewhat confused at times! 🤣
The ministers are trying a lot of different things to try to head of the huge revolt from Labour. If they thought the vote was going their way they wouldn't feel the need to keep trying it on. I think that it shows that things are going our way.
Labour MPs have insisted on the fact that they are not going to be swayed by tweaks. I hope that we can trust them on that! I think that there's a reasonable chance that we can though.
Kendall gets her big meeting in front of all the party's rebels today. All those really awkward questions, I wouldn't like to be in her shoes! 😉 I hope they REALLY drag her over the coals. 😁

Freedom of information request that was submitted to the DWP and a breakdown of who scores 4pts.This isgoodnews for older people claiming PIP Daily Living!Four times as many over 60's score 4 points or more on Enhanced DL than those who don't!429,000 v 102,000
Moreolder claimants score 4 points or more inat leastone activity on Standard DL53,000 v 11,000 teenagers (no surprise there)
Moreolder claimants score 4 points or more inat leastone activity on Enhanced DL429,000 v 154,000 teenagers (no surprise there)
Once again,
four times as many over 60's score 4 points or more on Enhanced DL than those who don't!👌1 -
I didn't know that and am shocked to hear that it's such a low number! Perhaps because I am one of this low number I have subconsciously overestimated the number that get 4 points in my mind, I don't know. The other alternative is the struggle I have with brain fog due to my ME, I find that I don't always get things right I'm afraid.
I didn't intend to do that and I agree that I should be more careful in the future.
However, everyone makes mistakes and perhaps you should remember that the people on this community are disabled in all sorts of different ways and are all struggling to express ourselves properly due to all sorts of health challenges.
We are also each currently going through circumstances that no human being should have to go through with the proposed cuts!
I think that you could have put your issue to me in a kinder way. I know we are all under great pressure as disabled people at this time but please remember that we are all better off making the effort to work together rather than fall out with each other over aspects of these proposals.
That is just what the Labour leadership want us to do, so they can win, so wouldn't it be better to work together, in the face of such a great common enemy? 🤔

Disabled people working together... Kendall is glad to hear it).
Now seriously - I don't think we need to go into too much detail - we need to make it clear to everyone that any reductions in any payments to disabled people are unacceptable.0 -
This is a forum server failure.
Employers will hire disabled people only when it is profitable. It is easier for an employer to pay an additional tax, which will be spent on payments to disabled people, than to pay many times more money to adapt the workplace.

I think we need to protest against the cuts in benefits, not propose ways to redistribute the measly remains.

I agree and I never thought I’d say it but just leave pip the way it is . They obviously aren’t going to change it for the better for us so leave it. I was just wondering if the maths add up . If most people on standard lose pip plus 13% on enhanced how much much is that over a year . Then of course lcwra and carers . Have the put the figure of £3.5-£5 billion out there when really it’ll be higher

So the government intends to update the UK submarine fleet.
Cost of 12 attack submarines approx £60billion over next 25 years (probably over £100billion by 2050)– puts PIP savings of less than £5billion into perspective.

And we all just guessing and using facts and figures that can’t be verified as that’s the way labour wants it. Remember starmer saying he’s starting a new government with transparency. What a joke

No one can say but you won't be reviewed until your awards up so they say

Morning juls ,
Yes the brain fog , fatigue and pain hit at once I’m afraid but I was determined to work out what they meant by not needing a 4? Point if you score a higher score. I suddenly get obsessive even when my brain isn’t functioning 😂
What I meant to say ( I think 🙄😂) was on another site it was mentioned that the government said if they allow a claim of pip for those with a high score overall without the 4 it amounts to 200,00 extra people claiming. There are currently 209,00 on enhanced without a 4 . So it seems logical it allows anyone on enhanced to continue getting pip . So they’re really imo focusing on standard which is what they’ve always wanted. No more standard is their goal imo . Obviously it’s all my opinion and the figures are perhaps incorrect. I don’t even know if I’m making any more sense tbh 😂

Morning all.
I have enhanced on both but with no 4 point score.
I am currently being reassessed so I will see what eventually happens.
I'm not expecting to hear from them anytime soon due to the backlogs which to me is a good thing obviously because I continue being paid.
I try to be optimistic but realistically we are most probably on a losing battle with this cold hearted clueless government.

Say in one and then say another

I’m also enhanced on both with no 4 . My awards up next Feb but I’ve not had a review form yet . I’m not sure if I should leave it or call them . I think we should go for the 4 regardless now just to be safe . Good luck with yours 🤞

Do you remember the last time the UK tested a nuclear weapon of its own design and manufacture?
0 -
Yes she is had 3 others on name and shame list asking if they was my mp said nope just informing mps if they vote for pip changes as a disabled community of millions we will vote you out

I read on another site a post from someone who emailed her mp . The mp replied that only 10% ( still too high) would lose pip . That’s the figures they’ve been told and I saw an article in The I newspaper saying the same thing . But this mp seemed to believe it or insisted it was true anyway.
