Evening all. Feeling so so . It was busy at times but it was not as bad. Loads of people in the workshops etc...people were there checking on us on how we work etc.... But I do not think that mp was there. Maybe people from her team..

It was better than getting depressed at home.

I get more depressed when I am at home like now. Anyway tomorrow will be another day...

Thank you. Now just watching telly. I hope for blue skies tomorrow... If so I will go out if not I might just stay at home. It is true it is better to go with the flow and worry when things happen other than keep worrying. It is hard to change but I have worried in the past and it did not happen. now worry for others in particular what rachel reeves is doing to people with properties etcโ€ฆ what an awful woman.

we can not get our past back. but maybe we can do something for the future. but i am trying not to think about it. politicians in general do not care any more for their people โ€ฆ. and this party is really attacking people who are not rich. it is really unfair. you can not buy because of taxes you can not sell because of taxesโ€ฆ it is very hard. if i were rich i probably would not buy a property now. i have tried mental health and physical health resources and nothing worked. so right now i might have to start thinking about a more natural approach.. But future being sick is very bleak and scary. Better not to think too much about it and obviously the older we get the harder the chance to get better. But people do not understand the sick.. i still hope i will be able to get my health back. hopefully one day.

My marital home was a BISF (British Iron and Steel Federation) house, and it had a roof made of cement and asbestos sheets. It's not harmful to your health, as long as it is intact.

    Good morning everyone

@Grumpy1314 I hope you're good. Did I read yesterday you posted that you were into ground maintenance or horticulture? Where abouts did you used to work? My brother's in that sector and enjoys it but he says it's a job where you need a plan for when you're about 45 because it's a young person's job

I am so sorry you feel so conflicted @Catherine21.

My Aloysius (yorkie) had quite a lot of teeth renoved last year but he had halitosis so I knew all was not well (even though he was checked yearly). He did not let me ever touch his teeth without him biting me, hence removals but his problem was only last year at 7 years old. My insurers ended up covering it as he had an infection so c 600.00. Many get charged up to c 1200 so I was 'lucky' really.

Natalie-Tiffany (shih tzu) had a lot of teeth removed last year - they were cracked/unknown reason, she'd not had toys etc that were hard. No halitosis/obvious discomfort. Again, insurers covered cost c 600.00. She was aged 7.5 years old.

Both recovered well. Natalie-Tiffany was done on election day so I was staying up all night anyway but she/I was up all night for 3 nights coughing (her, not me) (? anesthetic tube/irritation) so was worrying but she then recovered well.

I hope Fifi recovers well and uneventfully. They're such a worry; my other two need teeth doing but I'm in no rush/no discomfort/no halitosis or anything else obvious.

The two that were done have tongue hanging out now but not causing them any problems at all with eating etc. Not as 'photogenic' but they/I, do not have an issue with that! They're comfortable so that's the biggest priority.

Take good care today and my very best wishes to you Catherine xx

Morning all. I don't feel rested even though I slept. But still I woke up like two times. I am not sure I will go out. I think I will stay at home.

@Catherine21 I hope the vet goes ok and she recovers quickly. Don't worry about using your savings, it's a legitimate expense.

Omg, watching Emmerdale ๐Ÿคฃ. Shan't spoil it for anyone who watches it. Gripping. That's all I'm going to say. You'd think it was real ๐Ÿซ ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿคฃ.

PLEASE do not worry what UC may, or may not say. It is YOUR money, not theirs; they've paid it to you it is therefore for you alone to pay, and spend, on what you see fit. The next review I have I'll be a bit more polite and just tell them to 'do one'.

Your only priority is what's best for Fifi, and you. It's great you have faith/trust in your vet, that's more than half the battle. My Nats was only in surgery for so long as so many needed removing, its usually much quicker when just cleaning. Keep strong and thinking of you both โค๏ธ ๐Ÿ’™ ๐Ÿ’œ ๐Ÿ’–. ๐Ÿซ‚.
