@Strawberry1 Tbh I'm so used to it all It doesn't bother me too much, I know I'll never live a normal life and when I lose my mum I'm absolutely ****** but that's nothing I can do about it.
@rubin16 that description is pretty much same as me then level 2 with Many aspect of 3.
2 is middle and 3 severe.
2 requires support of some kind, 3 significant support.
it's absolutely awful and degrading I have to rely on my mum for everything
I can use the washing machine but only on one setting (it took years literally to learn that) but I can't fold clothes, I can't cook.
I can't even walk through a door without banging my arm on the frame , if I throw something to someone it goes so far to the left or right, I trip over my own feet.
it sounds dramatic but it's truly wrecked my life really.

That makes sense, and i'm pretty much the same. Family do alot for me, and I have support workers who help me with everyday things (As live in special supported accomodation) and an STR worker who helps me cook simple meals.
Funny enough as well about the bumping into things, i'm constantly always doing that and forever have bruises on me. My coffee table, door frames, half open doors, lamposts its like either I don't realise they're there or I misjudge the width.

Glad you have the attitude that it doesnt bother you @Nightcity .
That take so much strength
Something i lack
Im glad you have your mum .
Im sure things will be put in place if anything happens to your mum
That path wont need to be wallked down for a while yet .
Both you and your mum are solid for years yet

One downside though I've found is i'm constantly treated like a kid, and anything important involving me with anything I have to have an "Appropriate Adult" with me.

unfortunately zero is in place as neither of us have a clue about any of it, I could probably live alone if someone could come in once a day to do a meal, fold washed clothes etc. My main problems going to be anything that involves phone calls or face to face it's literally not possible.
hope she'll be around but things need to change starting with this heart ablation on the 18th we need to reverse the heart failure, then get her through a re try of the kidney transplant it will make the difference between her having 2-5 years or 10-15.
@rubin16 I'm glad you have some help, seems the clumsy thing is common. is that a home where you have your own flat and get the help you want or do they try take over and change you?

As an adult that must be really difficult @rubin16 .
I am pleased there is a support network there for you even if it feels uncomfortable .
I dont know if i do have Autism if i dont have it im not sure what else it could be .
Having the adhd known to me makes a lot of sense but i know there is something else

I have a good feeling shes gonna be ok .
We are all rooting for your mum .
Everyone has your back .
When you need that extra help Im sure plans will be put in place
That shouldnt be needed for a while yet

Yeah its my own flat, and I can do pretty much anything although my support workers will encourage me to do things. Like when I first moved there they would take me shopping till I got used to the shop and area and was comfortable going by myself, and they will go for a walk with me or encourage me to go out or help me with house chores.

Autism is such a huge spectrum I think the only way to know for sure is when you have your assessment.
Having ADHD is someway linked to autism although seperate, lots get diagnosed with both.
I hope it gives you some long awaited answers though when you have your assessment.

I really hope i get some answers @rubin16 .
I appreciate your support it means alot .
I do know im different in a big way.
I know i dont cope like others cope .
So i certainly know i am
Even close family dont understand me
Sometimes i feel Alien

Wide awake as per
Be nice to be able to have a better sleeping pattern

I feel that, my sleeping is so random. While here in hospital I go sleep at like 1am and wake again at like 4:30am in pain, then sleep and get woke up at 6:30 for meds then I just stay up.
At home though I run alot on US time and won't actually go sleep till 6am, and wake at 11am.
I actually don't sleep that much and found out I feel better running on 4/5 hours sleep than if I had 10/11 hours, I feel more with it and productive.
I do occasionally however have a day every few weeks where i'll just catch up on sleep and sleep for like 12 hours.
Hope you manage to get some rest, take care

Whats is said to me is
" you have only just woke up and your complaining "
Yes in a respect I suppose I am .
Arent people allowed to say when they havent slept well?
