Nice to see that the sun is shining for some of you. It's shining here too 😊

That's great that you're volunteering @Schildpad. Do you mind sharing what you do? Hopefully once you're there you'll feel less tired.

I am an arts facilitator.. peer support. So people come here to draw. Have a cuppa, eat lunch if they want.. it is a community centre. So i do not do much. I sometimes create workshops. I hand paper, pencils etc... I mean it is.only for 3 hours.... but yes overall is art therapy... i am better here than getting depressed. @Rachel_Scope

I've just had a lovely coffee with neighbour for an hour or so. Going to try to go and get a Camellia tomorrow, one for the front and one for back the back of garden. Will go to minor injuries first tomorrow after just snapping right wrist yeeks.

That sounds wonderful @Schildpad! I'm glad it helps your mental health. My mum has MS and she has been to a couple of art therapy sessions and loved it. Although she wasn't happy with her first painting 😂

That sounds painful @Santosha12. Are you sure you'll be ok until tomorrow to see a Dr?

@Rachel_Scopei hate my art …. it grows on me eventually but i tend to be very critical on myself. i prefer what other people do.. and it is very therapeutic and rewarding to see what other people can do. it takes practice.. i do not practice enough my art in general. people who come to the sessions do it every day. But yes i will keep going. the facilitators are doing collage art. a workshop is maybe coming on printing using linocut.. we are always researching…. i am doing some of the research on ideas for new workshops etc.. . i am at home now. weather is nice but i am tired.. so i will be watching tv… i do really think it helps with the mental health also with the hands etc… mine they get stiff sometimes…so holding pencils etc.. or scissors with cutting stuff helps…

We're our own worst critics, as they say @Schildpad. Linocut printing is something I'd love to try. I'd love to see your work if you end up doing the workshop. I used to do lots of arts and crafts but since having my daughter I can't find the time. You're right that it helps with mental health so maybe I need to make some time for it. Have a nice rest 😊

linocut is very difficult.. i will go to that workshop… the person running it was a background in art. unlike myself i am amateur artist , and a bad one.… it will be done on stages… cut a bit, print, cut more print..and applying the paint in places… i hope to learn. as i end up cutting the part i am not suppose to……

anyway. getting tired with the same stuff on television… i might just check a film until 9 pm.. there is a film i had in mind.. but i really should get netflix… or something else.. so repetitive.

    Good morning.

I managed to sleep until 4.40 am and I feel so much better for it.

We have sunshine forecast here today and I'm going to look around some shops.

I really need some new clothes and I have to do a bit of grocery shopping.

I hope you all manage to have a good day.

Unfortunately Royal Mail are notoriously bad for losing important documents, this is why it's always better, if possible, to email them to whoever needs the documents.

I remember a few years back, we applied to the local Council for a blue badge, however because like I said, I don't trust the local Postal service not to lose documents, we were sending copies and not the original paper documents, which were refused/sent back by the Council.

Also, it's happened the last 4 out of 5 times I've sold anything on eBay, that I've sent off the items to the buyers, and they've gone walkies in the Post, and I end up having to refund the buyers rather than get negative feedback for something that wasn't directly my fault.
