That colour green is definitely your colour, it looks so good on you @StarryEyed!
It's so nice to hear you had such a good time at the wedding, the pictures look wonderful! Hope you have managed to rest and recoverπ0 -
Omg you guys are so very sweet!! π₯°β€οΈπ₯°β€οΈπ₯°β€οΈπ₯° I went out tonight with some friends for a beer on a rooftop terrace, and wore a new blouse, fixed my hair and did my new henna eyebrows. It was so very nice. So civilised.
Afterwards I bought a secondhand lemon scarf and thought of your recent purchase of lemon pants, @luvpink. π

Hi
How are you?
My pink trousers arrived yesterday and two pairs of cheap pink earrings I ordered
The lemon trousers are out of stock and they sent an alternative horrible off white pair instead that are far too big hence I have returned them.
Its sunny here today so I might wear a nice pair pink shorts with a white top.
I hope you have a pleasant day.

Hi @luvpink ππΌππ
That's too bad about the lemon pants, but good the rest of the order worked out. Like life in general - bittersweet. π How was your outfit for the day? Sounds like a great combo. Did you wear your pink earrings?
My day has been great so far. I went for breakfast with friends and have been doing stuff around the house all day as I'm going on a trip tomorrow for a couple of days. I washed and pressed my new lemon scarf and will wear it on my trip, thinking of you, with one of my new scarf rings and new T-shirt, like this...
These are the scarf rings I just bought....
And I started a new audiobook today that I read back in highschool. I have wanted to re-read it since as I adored it. It's about a white guy who disguises himself as a black guy and comments on the difference. It starts in 1959 in the southern US. I'm reading it because I've lived so many different ways in the world that I find it confusing yet interesting. I've been obese and skinny and everything in between, completely psychotic and completely sane and everything in between, a visible white majority in Canada and a visible immigrant white minority in Spain, poor and comfortable and everything in between, able bodied and physically disabled.... Well those are the big ones. So I'm hoping going back to the book may shed some light on my current struggles to adapt to the new me. This is the book in case you or anyone else is interested. It's called "Black Like Me" by John Howard Griffin.

Hi yes the outfit was nice and I wore a pair of the earrings.
I had compliments which was nice.
The weather has been glorious today and I watched a local live band in a beer garden with friends.
I love your pretty yellow scarf.
Its really lovely.
I'm having a relaxing evening in listening to 70's glam rock music.
Take care
Happy positive vibes. π

Hi @luvpink
Thank you! The scarf looks even better on as it puffs up because it's a slightly stiff linen. I'm wearing it today and tomorrow. I've never had scarf rings, and just love them!
Also as part of my makeover, I've catalogued pics of all my rings onto one page. So now I can pick out rings easier because I can see them all at once. It's such a cinch now!
Oh a live band in a beer garden on a beautiful day with friends sounds about as perfect as it gets! πππΌ
I don't know what 70s glam rock means. So I found a playlist and am listening to it now in the hotel. This is it ...
I hope you're having a beautiful day. Big hugs!

70's glam rock is the Sweet, David Bowie, Slade to name just a few.
I'm listening to a 70's music radio chanel tonight.
I grew up in the 70's and I had a great childhood.
We were poor in material means but very rich in love of family, great friends and a close knit neighbourhood.
