Hi @splatcat, I think you need to prepare for the assessment. Do you have all medical evidence ? Please make sure you do. @poppy123456 can you please advice here more. Thank you.

    Hello @splatcat

Just wanted to check in to see how your assessment went? How are your pain levels? Have you had any further medical help with them?

We'd love to hear from you :)

I have had my first proper assessment with the pain management team and they have arranged for me to have some therapy I will join the course in the new year. They have also said I should up my dose of pregabalin but I'm waiting for the doctor to get the letter so I can do that.
I have reduced my hours at work to 16 hours a week but due to the business being so busy they would like to reduce it to 13.5 hours a week but I'm worried I won't be able to live on this. I do get UC and they have put me on LCW but I'm not sure if they will think this is enough hours. I keep going up and down with depression and it seems a very decreasing circle. I'm suffering from a lot of pain in my hands, especially my thumbs which makes doing anything very hard. I'm feeling very alone and I don't feel like I can make a decision about anything.

Thanks. This is the very reason i don't like to be tagged because all my notifications are turned off and i could miss the tag because of this. I didn't actually see this until just now, which is almost 2 months later.

You've already been found to have LCW which means reducing your hours will not mean you'll need to look for more work.
