    We've always had too much rain down here,but I honestly can't remember the last time we had twenty four hours without a downpour.

    I've just come out the garden looking for any potential wasp nests

    I don't think I've ever seen a wasps' nest @Sandy_123,mustn't speak too soon though.

    I'm amazed we don't all have webbed feet @Ada.

    I have a friend(they don't live locally) who had to pay a fortune to have two nests removed last year @Ada.

    I'll never forget my sister stumbling into a nest when we were kids,my father went berserk and almost burned down the woods opposite our house.

    Hi @ada I'm ok thankyou I'm doing chores because I've got a busy day tomorrow, finally got my xray in the morning, then my daughter is driving up to say good byes to extended family.
    We had bees last year wilko used to do a foam for wasps nest, don't know where I'd get it from now it's gone
    I get a lot of wasps nest over the years sometimes they go in stupid places and the rain washes them out @Teigr or I use a foam spray

    It shouldn't matter if it's over the phone or in person @Amberpearl from the perspective of the outcome. Of course it can matter if you find doing things in-person very anxiety inducing. Do you have someone to sit with you to support you through the assessment? They can help you remember things to bring up and just be a bit of support for what could be a stressful thing.

    I remember when I had a wasp nest in a spare room once of my old flat I lived in, Becuase I don't have a sense of danger or afraid of any animal I got rid of it myself. I just lit an incense stick and let the smoke go round the nest for abit, and then started picking away at the nest till I found the queen, once I found the queen I just picked her up and put her outside and the wasps followed her then cleared the rest of the nest when it was empty. I didn't get stung once. My friend who was watching was calling me crazy and how did you not get stung haha

    @Lou67 Glad you had a nice time with your grandaughters, mcdonalds has gone so expensive these days. You need a mortgage where I live to order one xD

    @Ada fingers crossed you hear back from the doctors today.

    The end of the month @Lou67 I'm going back to London with her to help sort furniture out and watch baby while they start seeing what they want to take as they are shipping a lot over. Glad you had a good day

    It's been on the cards since they got married they've put it back a year. My daughter said she will give it two years to see if she likes it. I think will be emotional on days they do go. Most relatives upset by it now. But you know might be a good move.

    @Ada
    Thanks it’s just what I needed a day with them.
    Fingers crossed 🤞🏾 for you that the doctor gets back to you soon.

    @Sandy_123
    Omg that’s been a quick year since you said they were going. Off course it’ll be upsetting for you and your family but it’s a great opportunity for them, and as you say you’ll get out to see them.

    @rubin16
    Thanks yes it’s definitely got more expensive now but it was lovely to treat them.

    Ada said:
    Hey @Beaver79 How are you.
    and @Sandy_123

    I got a rude response from the receptionist who said the doctor tried to ring me on Monday. So I got mr to just ring them he told them the phone hasn’t rang all week neither shows any miss calls. She said I should hear by 6.30 today.

    Sorry Ada just saw this shocking they sd they’d called when they hadn’t hopefully sorted soon.

    @Sandy_123 I'm sure you will miss your daughter and family. Canada sounds really liberal and and a beautiful country.

    @Lou67 glad you had a lovely afternoon with granddaughters

    @rubin16 what an exterminator!!

    @Ada that's great you gave the receptionist what for. Your landlords make me mad. All the dog Minding you do too.

    I sorted out rates (council tax) and home insurance prices today. Its shocking how much they have gone up but between comparison sites and phone haggling I got there. Quite pleased with myself lol
