Hi
After two long years of fighting, my daughters award for DLA was finally reinstated on Tuesday.
The Judge said they would email the DWP and gave me a copy of their decision,
She said that my daughter would be backdated and her payments reinstated.
Does anyone know how long this takes?
Thanks

Well done. Nice to hear happy stories about benefits.1

I've read it can take 6-8 weeks for backdated payments but chase up after 4 weeks to make sure they haven't 'overlooked' any emails, hope this helps and congratulations0

Congratulation. At least you are lucky. Have a great time to celebrate the strength and effort you put with your daughter to win this case.1
