@Nightcity thank you, yeah I am the same with any psychotropic medications nothing works, I have tried every SSRI, SNRI and several antipsychotics and mood stabilisers and loads of combinations of different ones together at different times, yet only a few helped ease my problems by making me completely numb but the effects never lasted long even with Dr constantly increasing the dose over time, after a while I would be told to gradually come off the tablets so they done more harm than good. Last year I was told that I am treatment resistant and the mental health team refused to prescribe me anything other than lorazepam and diazepam

@Strawberry1 you are not intruding, I am happy to talk to you ❤️ it’s nice that we can openly talk about our worries and struggles on this forum, I have found these conversations so helpful and comforting, it’s nice to have people to talk with that understand and can offer insight or advice, or even tips with coping.

I always feel like that @Strawberry1 anything I do is always wrong, it’s an awful way to think of yourself, I wish you would be kinder to yourself ❤️ but at the same time I know how hard it is to break the cycle of constantly putting yourself down and being so hard on yourself, for me it’s one of the hardest habits to break is hating myself and being constantly negative about myself

I've been on antidepressants for 10 years different ones, just come off the one , wasn't working. Did tell the doctor but she wanted me to go on one I had previously which stopped working. I've had counselling early in the year , waited 4 years. Had mental problems since I was in my 20s .I'm In my 50snow. Diagnosed with Autism few years ago. Had problems with ex friend recently, no good at relationship, had abusive ones in the past.

I think all this worry with pip and the esa thing and uc migration is another worry.

Ii tend to dwell and seeing a lot of hassle and complications people's had with it, feels me with dread. That I find difficult even to do stuff I like, hobbies

    Sorry about all this

You have nothing to apologise for @Andi66 , you haven't said anything wrong. I can resonate with alot of what you have posted. I wish things were not triggering for you I truly wished things were easier . I myself don't do hobbies either. It's nice to be able to post here and let things out . Strength in numbers hopefully @Andi66 . Sending gentle hugs.

Sorry to be a burden here I am really curious of the traits of Autism. I'm Awaiting an assumption. I do honestly believe I have autistic traits . I always feel like I don't fit it . I don't feel great in other people's company. I'd rather be alone in my own company. Always felt different to others. Skin picked for years and years . Copied other people when I was younger. Feeling overwhelmed after certain events.

Sweet Strawberry 🍓 it was very much like that for me too. Started looking at the characteristics associated with autism and realised that I matched so many that my daughter probably was onto something…and she was right. As you probably are. Too many very specific features of behaviour, appearance and preferences to be coincidences.

We understand you and know what you're going through. Believing in it enough to accept it takes a while and we all hope you don't have to wait long for assessment and diagnosis.
