Hi on a pip assessment done by the assessment team they have put ticks in some boxes and left the others blank its confusing, can someone explain please I'd be grateful. Thanks

Hey there @mcandrew1966 and welcome to the community. I hope you're doing ok today?
The ticks will be which part of the descriptor they think you should get. So if something isn't ticked, that'll mean they don't think you qualify for it.0 -
There will be a dot or tick next to the descriptor they have chosen. For example, A would be zero points and B would be 2 points. Underneath that there will be their justification for choosing that descriptor.
You can use the PIP self test and transfer the dots from the report into the test and at the end it will add up how many points are recommended. See link.
The report is a recommendation only, it's not the decision. They mostly go with it but it has been known for them to go against it.
