Bedroom tax is a percentage of your rent so if you have 1 spare bedroom it's a 14% deduction on your housing element, same as it is for UC. If your landlord increases your rent then yes the bedroom tax amount will also increase. You will still need to pay the shortfall.

Sorry to hear that. Yes, you asked the question correctly and I understood it. I also answered it correctly.
It's only ESA that's deducted in full from your UC and this will not affect the TP, even if benefits increase annually. The amount deducted for the ESA will obviously increase if benefits increase.

I hope you're okay from the health emergency ❤️
It's only the UC annual upgrade, and any rent increase if you get housing element from UC that will impact your TP xx

Yeh basically but you also can make a claim for New style ESA aswell as UC so you will still get these benifits it's just reduced from amount of UC you get after the migration you don't just have to make a claim for UC alone you can claim them both side by side because of the migration that's why ppl shouldn't who are entitled to any income related benefit should take part in any type work program what's so ever tells U under change circumstances on your ESA support group letter tells you what your entitled to and why your entitled just because of a system change re name of a benefit doesn't mean your entitlement from one disappears to claim another that won't benefit you can't support you and will cause medical problems life and child disabilities problems ect your entitlement stays the same just a different system sending out payments doesn't affect your already decided lcw if you are already entitled upto date with tax office from April 2024 then your entitlement stand you do not have same circumstances that you need to be eligible for UC because your not your recent active eligibility claim welfare support can't be over ruled because of a system change if anyone worse off changing that system they have to protect us untill payment falls under guide lines regulations for social care welfare care to will protect you for as long as you need it to until the benifits fizzle out in 2025 that's why ppl on the Managed migration scheme are protected by TO TP is a law placed on UC terms conditions for a welfare reform act UC assements stage takes 3 months anyone on the managed migration should be up running without need for any assesment because your already assessed and already entitled should take 5 weeks from following your migration letter migration doesn't change your legal decision of eligibility already in place so UC shouldn't be asking ppl to risk their life in blackmail of well you won't get payed because that's were I think the scandle all this is so they physically assessed by image if your capable for work witch is also a law breaking move to make as hidden illnesses already been ruled against by high court against DWP back in 2022 as discrimination against invisible illnesses so fact they no what's happening all migrated ****,they still don't no what they are doing themselves shouldn't be allowed because they don't have correct set up system to avoid bringing harm to already entitled ppl,if I wasn't entitled to IR ESA even tho I made a UC account in accordance to rules regulations of Transitional protection law managed migration then the search after applying for a budget load done by DWP wouldnt be accept by DWP as a loan, but have because my entilment isnt for UC its still engance rate of ESA tp is a law, added to protect ppl like us that are on a managed migration so fact they are forcing ppl over without a complete set up system that protects ppl like the law for migration States supposed to is a joke they are forcing to judge by image weather you look fit enough for work that is discrimination migration and applying in benifits complete different thing no lower system can change your legal active claim so if they try to put you at risk make sure your in line with managed migration then UC are failing at the services they are providing doesn't comply to law set in place separate set regulations for normal UC applications on the UC T&C's so what ever they try force you to do your not capable of they have no say weather you go on that system if they don't sort it by time one stops if they haven't started the other via managed migration then you apply for the protection payment in accordance to managed migration if your not on managed migration your not entitled at all to managed migration rules regulations it's only to protect those moving over from one system to another a normal claim for UC they aren't entitled to any benefit of managed migration as long as you have that letter your entitlment from April tax 2024 they can't over rule any legal standing eligibility if your not under managed migration your not protected by the Transitional protection law and will be subjected to normal UC applications and commitments the fact they don't even no wat they are doing themselves shows mentally of the ppl on charge in my eyes I no it's hard but your a civil servant and you have legal rights human rights disability rights and are protected from most things government bodies mess up may be they should go hit the pharmasutical company's were the 2nd major funder for that make over 43.billion world wide and rising on drug policies and contradicting laws they all have in place that many laws exemption they get lost themselves no one will force me over money to risk my life they should be hitting systems likes who works for them in each district each city all on ridiculous government salarys given 985 million quid towards 5000 possible drugs for health only 1 makes it to the actual market then don't even work hence why health system is failing education miss informed illnesses fed with drugs don't work broken systems causing harm famine war why it gross income raises every year because governments plans aren't plans they should be name as candles GOVERMENT migration candle they don't no their **** from their elbow fact we let these ppl make decisions in first place I's a joke but it will be hard stay strong U have to remember no matter what you matter you no your rights and your stronger than any idiot who can't set up a IT system correctly don't stress over it or cause your illnesses to take a nose dive stand strong yeh your life is what it is but your worth more than any toohface lying idiot can't even run IT payment system 🫣😂sorry I've fought against them that many times then being contradicted to by given enhance everything from nothing and courts battles for 7 yrs straight to COVID lock down here you go you was right after all we will fix it quick so it in line with regulations stated they are all contradicting idiots let them keep pushing IAM intending to fight back now me I have had enough this country pharmacy all they have to do legalise THC because it's essential in a human healthy living as your body hold a endocannabinoid cell reseptor system inside call human ECS system and thc is a enzyme protine used medicinal to clear out dead cells grown in the ground could lower crime rate they don't care they hold it worse than the opieate based heroin tablets U have 0 cells inside to work with main enzymes protine held worse than a actual drug mixed with heroin on a factory they make billions from year in year out it's disgusting fact they are stupid think us disabled are stupid a 10 yr old can run this country better compassion any greedy government government laws poloces ect need to chance may be we should fight for some of the richest ppl in world force feeding medication doesn't work maybe they need a change you need one prime minister that's it to many chiefs not even Indians in this country ppl been beaten that hard by government they have everyone on edge like they are the b all end all of legal rights they aren't they have rules to follow aswell I no it's hard but U have to stay strong it will be changed by time anyone will be fully entitled because of risk to health live it's causing we aren't Guienne pigs we have rights to just stay calm and research your legal rights to welfare eligibility human rights act the disability act ect they want you to panic don't rise to it I feel for everyone including myself but IAM staying calmer with my legal rights telling UC to basically do one every request has a answer every request is recorded and logged for risk of life court case this will create sorry bit long hope your ok stay strong ❤️

@macca3 I'm afraid I wasn't able to read all of that without paragraphs.
I did notice that the first part you advised to make a claim for New style ESA BUT not everyone will qualify for that.
If someone is migrating from Income Support, child tax credits or Income Related ESA/JSA they may not be entitled to New style ESA due to lack of Ni contributions from working in the previous 2 tax years.
If someone is claiming Income Related ESA and part of that is contributions based this will continue but be deducted in full from any UC entitlement. Their CB ESA will then revert to New style ESA automatically.

A lady came to my house years ago from DWP interviewed me for esa which I got and ten years went by I kept thinking why they not contacted me so 2020 reciewed form filled out got on paper based then someone said some people get indefinite that's why in gutted thar thier fazimg it out
2 -
But not all get indefinite but yes lwcra you do not have to look for work but labour going to change that
1 -
Sounding stupid here, but to get NI ,.do you get them from working part time ? Is it so many hours you have to do ?
0 -
Yes, you would have been assessed and sent a ESA50 form at some point in the past. Those forms haven't changed for more than 10 years.
Support Group means you're expected to work or look for work as long as you remain in that group. It's an ongoing award until a new decision says otherwise.
0 -
Well, they haven't specifically said that. They've said "those that can work, must work" and that could mean anything. Goodness me, there's so much speculation going on in the community and it's not good at all.
1 -
I thought support group was you wasn't expected to look for work
2 -
NI credits are also included with some benefits, like ESA, Income Support, JSA, carers allowance, UC and child benefit up until your youngest child reaches 12.
If someone works and earns at least £123/week they are treated as having paid NI contributions, which is class 1 if you're PAYE and work for an employer. If your earnings are £242 or more per week then you pay class 1 NI contributions, which are usually deducted from your earnings.
If self employed it's usually class 2 or class 4 NI you pay.

Oh right, I was working part time, until last year. Under the permitted work. I must have had contributions as I don't remember them being on pay slip. Would that count to move on to Esa contributions instead of UC . I worked for 5 years. I was also a carer. I had Esa contributions in the past and then was moved on to income Esa before I started working

Oh OK god imagine if we can

So poppy when you say it will go sane as everyone else on UC is that 398 add 416 ? Thankyou
