PIP
Hi all… just wanted to see if anyone had been in a similar situation to me as I’m super overthinking etc.
Back in June I rang to apply for PIP and I chose to do the online documentation etc but I didn’t get around to doing it as every time I tried to save it, it wouldn’t save and my mental health and various other things caused me to be unable to complete it.
Now a few weeks back I received I message saying they will be calling me this Friday to do a telephone assessment but I haven’t completed any forms.
So I kind of just wanted to know anything in regards to this?
I suffer with a chronic illness, plus depression, ocd and anxiety.
thank you x

If you have a vulnerable marker on your file they can use their own discretion and continue with your claim, even if you don't return the form. Sounds like this is what's happened here.
If you have any evidence to send it would be worth contacting the assessment providers to ask for the address to send it to, if you're quick enough they may receive it by Friday. Or you can cancel that assessment and they'll send you another appointment once one becomes available. This will give you time to send some evidence to them.

Hi @sapphirep19, as Poppy says they can still go ahead with an assessment. Did they say who will be doing the assessment?
If possible I would recommend having someone there with you, as support and to help remind you of the things you should be telling the assessor. Be as clear and unambiguous as possible about your condition!
