My daughter has an official diagnosis of dyscalculia . She wants to go to university but her course requires national 5 maths. She doesn't have this but has the correct 4 higher grades to qualify. Can they refuse her because of maths? Thanks

    Hi Gilly,

I believe that Universities have a certain amount of flexibility and that it would be at their discretion. However that can depend on how popular the course is and the uni. It can be quite competitive.

I wish you and your daughter all the best.
