How do you deal with your health looking bad?

Who has never called me before. He has the results of the CAT scan and said things in my shoulder are looking very bad, with many unhealed fractures.

Because of my general poor health and low weight, my body will not heal. 

I imagine others here are in the same boat. How do we deal with that kind of knowledge? I am watching my body fall apart.
