Can someone please give me a link to the official DWP ESA 50 "descriptors" document/pdf? (I understand there may be more than one document, as there might be special criteria unique to the support group.
Also, I'm looking for the same kind of thing, but for the PIP assessment. (I'd like to learn more about how and why the points are allocated. Again, I'm trying to find the official DWP version. I can see that various websites have their own interpretations, but I'd like to see the DWP version please.)
Thanks a lot.

HI,ESA50 is the work capability assessment form. You mean the Support Group (LCWRA) and WRAG (LCW) descriptors. Also substantial risk, which is reg 29 for WRAG and reg 35 for support group. The DWP guidelines you ask for can be found here in the ESA handbook. For PIP then everything is here in this link. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/personal-independence-payment-assessment-guide-for-assessment-providers/pip-assessment-guide-part-2-the-assessment-criteria

Hi I’m looking for some advice. I’ve been on dla for 16 years. Epileptic for 30 years. I’ve had a letter telling me I have to claim pip. I’m so worried about the Assesment if I walk into a room they will think the is nothing wrong with me. I’m so so worried about it. I’m wondering if I should just not claim it. The is so much bad press over epilepsy and pip.0
