I find that so many people now, don't have a proper opinion about what the way things should be. How we can change things.. there are so many things I could go on about, that ever since I was younger I've always thought about the world differently and always wanted to change it in a positive way.
I admit I do have higher standards in the way that we should do things all do things.
I mean sometimes they will agree with me and say "yeah, yeah you do that that's great, what you're doing" but then have nothing to do with it.. it also puts people off wanting to talk to you or stay friends with you, but at the same time I just don't get why people don't use their voice and their actions more, to do more good and especially when it comes to disabilities and mental illness!!
People have become so so ignorant, and selfish. (That's my opinion anyway) ?

Choose an Impossible Dream and be told with work anything is possible
    Choose Your Future,
    Choose Stuff You Don't Need
    Choose Stuff You can't Afford
Choose Shacked to a life with appearance of freedom and insecurity and depression as you put on a facade
Choose a religion and wonder why the placebo effect of hopes and wishes drops off.
Choose a military Career and find out when discharged your not the BEST
Choose to believe your country needs and wants you-find out it doesn't care/want or need you
Choose a Midlife crisis when you realise your tied in so deep with debt, mortgage commitments etc your staying exactly where you are.
Choose retirement plan to find the scheme switched before you retire and in poverty after you retire.
Choose cruises and exotic holidays to regain the lost life you missed.
Choose a care home and paying your life savings.
Choose sitting in a chair feeling cheated until you die.

Or simply let the flock get on with all the above and long for a better life, I often think we could run up a load of debt and simply disappear-six years later it is written off and if not in this shambles of a country, bankruptcy is irreverent.
I came into this world with nothing and intend to leave with debts upto my ears having had a great time.

The problem is I simply do not feel apart of the country that victimises disabled, child poverty and going down the toilet fast- the UN sent a delegation. Having seen that certain organisations break laws with impunity- I simply no longer have a hand in the game.

    Mmmm, interesting post.

I think we are scheduled to follow a certain path....some take it, some don't.
If we have pride and respectability and responsibility we go to school.....do the best we can to achieve decent exam results....go to uni or get a job......marry, have kids, pay your bills and hold your head up. That`s the `norm`

You plan for retirement, have a private pension to supplement the state pension.......retire..go on holidays, pay your mortgage off, that`s the norm for so many 60+ couples....leave your kids some money.

Well guess what.......it aint gone like that for me...even though I bought into the idea and followed a decent life....what went wrong?

I became disabled and that blasted the whole thing apart....now I am going to lose the lot to care charges. Stinks, dunnit?

Glad it went well and that you'll be getting more help.

Let's take that as a lucky sign re PIP.

That letter you received, I think my decision came one week after that so shouldn't be long now hopefully.

With mine, we were starting to panic because it was 10 days after my last PIP was due to end, so of course Carers Allowance (hubby) ended as well.

    It's so scary, isn't it?

Yes it is, but we have to keep our fingers crossed for the best decision.

    Hope you're bearing up today.

Sorry, I got that previous info wrong.

That letter came one and a half weeks after assessment then a further 2 weeks for decision.

But anyway, at least you know you're on your way now.

I wonder if mine was so fast because it was going past the renewal time and I had shown them a year's receipts for incontinence nappies, which are £100 a month.

Who knows? The whole system has become one of life's great mysteries!

Hi, I use incontinence pads all the time and get them on prescription from my district nurses. I haven't paid for them so why don't you look into this. Do you have a catheter? I do, but it often by passes, plus I am doubly incontinent.

My son has bladder issues. I asked his urologist about where to get catheters and incontinence supplies when I first met her two years earlier. My son has a Foley catheter and all of his incontinence aids are provided by specialist nurses. Or you can buy aids privately.

Take a look at the link above for more information. With incontinence, you need to think outside the box. If something does not work, try finding another option.

Continence products don't have to be bought if you have a catheter. I have a suprapubic type and nurses come to change it every 4 weeks. I order the kit from them.

Thank you for your well wishes ?
I just thought I'd ask a question, how come you can't add people on here or even see their profile, what's the point of doing them if no one can see them, lol) and not message them privately? ?❤️

Sorry to hear you were really ill for a while there, and glad you picked up again.

Re your original post, I do feel that people (myself included) can be a bit sheeplike at times.
But I also feel we are often pushed into it by circumstances or simply just having to follow rules.

    Hope you're well today  :)
