Hello!
I am new to this so bare with me! I have been struggling to find paid work ever since I lost my job in March last year due to being dismissed from my job for take lot time off due to my mental health and dislocation on my leg. I was a healthcare assistant for the elderly. Ever since being dismissed from that job, I have been really struggling to find paid work. I have been applying for lot of jobs and they haven't got back to me? I am a volunteer for St Catherines Hospice which is in a charity shop but I would like to look for paid work now. Any advice and guidance?

Hi @annamichelleholder and a warm welcome to the community.
It must be frustrating after applying for so many roles. What kind of work are you wanting to get into?
Have you been in contact with Support to Work at Scope? They might be able to offer some support and guidance.

Hi @annamichelleholder Welcome to the community
It is hard for anyone to find paid work at current times though I would think there would be lots of opportunities in your field currently.
Unfortunately being dismissed could be a barrier to some employees as you may be aware.
Have you registered with any agency's who specialise in your field also Indeed is a good job site to join
