You have the right to vote
No one should deny you this. You can ask for assistance
You can ask the official in charge of the polling station, a personal assistant, or a close family member who is over 18 to mark your ballot for you if you need assistance. You can ask for a specialised device if you have a visual impairment
If you have a visual impairment, you can ask for a small, specialised device to mark your ballot paper privately.Polling stations should be accessible
If yours is not, you can get the official in charge of the polling station to bring your ballot paper to you.Lost your polling card?
Don't worry, you don't need to take it with you. For information about your polling station, check-out the Where Do I Vote? website.Have a learning difficulty?
If you have a learning difficult and need some advice on voting, read Mencap's voting guide.0

I do all my voting by post these days, which makes things even more safe and convenient during the pandemic.
True, the ballot paper is really small and I can't read it without assistive aids, but I'm happy doing it this way.0 -
