Hi, my name is Mindfullybeme! I have HS. Is it possible to not use medication?

I have recently been told i have HS, by told i mean literally told and sent home with 3 months of antibiotics.
It is only through research that i have found out the true meaning of HS, and what lies ahead. I am a mindfulness teacher, who is not keen on being on medication for long periods of time, or life....who knows since i have been told NOTHING by the person who diagnosed me.
Is is possible to not use medication? Is there other options? How much worse should i expect this to get?
Any advice would be really appreciated x

It's great to have you with us.
Thanks for posting about your condition. Could I just clarify that you're referring to hidradenitis suppurativa (NHS website)?0
