Hi all. I'm thrilled to have found this site and look forward to your support and getting to know you and more about disabilities.
I have disabilities (mostly hidden) and so does my 12 year old daughter.
I am in training foe Mt new job which revolves around helping people with disabilities find employment.
I'm really passionate about being treated fairly and that people with disabilities are given the same life chances as anyone else.
Thank you for allowing me to join.
Cheryl

Hello @Cheryl001
Wishing you a warm welcome to the community, thank you for joining and taking the time to introduce yourself.
This is a very supportive and welcoming place, so I'm sure you'll enjoy taking part, please feel free to have a browse around and if you have any questions then don't hesitate to ask.
Congratulations on the new job, that sounds super. Employment can be such a challenge for many people, so if you will be doing a job that supports disabled people into work then brilliant. I wish you all the best.
How are you and your daughter managing with your conditions?0 -
