Question regarding PIP Application

I have a friend that I’ve known since 2007. I helped her with her PIP claim last year. She asked DWP for an email address that she could contact them through because of her health condition. When she had her assessment she contacted them to ask them to send her a copy of the report. For security reasons they wouldn’t send it through email and would only send it through the post.1
-
Somewhat confused as the PIP2 form doesn't ask for an email address, so unsure how the DWP could communicate in this format. Perhaps wibbles received a spam email....

I`m with you there chiarieds - I have no recollection of verbally giving my email and I certainly didn`t have to provide it on my PIP forms

Unless wibbles completed his PIP2 online in which case he would presumably have provided his email address.0
-
I'm unsure about this, I didn't write my email address on the Paper form, unless as Calcotti said he did he's form online 👀1
-
Even if they completed the form online, that doesn’t automatically mean they would send the report via email.1
-
As wibbles said in his first post on this thread,' I recently aoolied [applied] for PIP - Using the "forms" method rather than on-line.'

I look forward to the screenshot to put this to rest

Too many holes in the stories. Going round in circles. Leads to people questioning whether what the OP is saying is truthful or not. I’d love to be proved wrong and the OP have the award they want. So a few quick screenshots would achieve that.We are all allowed our opinion based on what is put in front of us.1
-
What more do I want? Evidence. What else do I want? You to stop focusing your attention on experienced knowledgable members and contribute in a more appropriate way.Plus, I’m not having a go at OP, there just seems to be a lot of discrepancies.1

Hi all,
This thread has now been reopened.
Though we appreciate that some members may want to see evidence to support something another member has said, this isn't something that should be demanded in the way it has been on this thread, especially when the evidence requested would consist of a screenshot of a private email. @Wibbles is free to share an anonymised screenshot, but only if they feel comfortable doing so.
Some comments that break our house rules have been removed from this thread, along with a couple that don't make sense without context.
Congratulations on your result @Wibbles, and I hope this thread can be a positive place for you to share your experience

”Yesterday, I received an email from DCS DCPU Alternative Format Team."This is your confirmation email. We have received your request to receive communications from DWP by email. We can offer this as a reasonable adjustment because of your health condition or disability"”
Why should anyone have to go to the effort of sharing screenshots just to be able to tell their own story?? Even if he isn’t being truthful why does it matter to you? If you don’t like his posts don’t comment. Looking at the history of his posts it actually makes perfect sense and completely possible they would send it by email as he already has it as a reasonable adjustment agreed by them, what more do you want?1 -
I agree with you too. It appears that some people think having some specialist knowledge gives them a right to not treat people with compassion. Shame on the moderators for allowing it to go so far, not a safe space at all.2

Just a polite reminder that if anyone would like to share any concerns they have with moderation, they would be welcome to do so by emailing the team at community@scope.org.uk.
If possible can we keep the topic of this discussion as the title says, regarding the original poster's PIP application.0 -

I think it is a completely unfounded comment. All people are entitled to an opinion, even with argumentative people like the OP.4
