"If you use a wheelchair or mobility scooter, "Please answer the question by telling us how far you can stand and move WITHOUT using it"

The reason they ask that question is because of Activity 2F... "cannot either stand or move, aided or unaided more than 1 metre". https://pipinfo.net/activities/moving-around
Anyway, we are continuing to go round in circles again so for this reason i'm out. Good luck with your claim.

    Also:
Can stand and then move more than 1 metre but no more than 20 metres, either aided or unaided. 12 points
You can't state only one sixth of the relevant descriptor!

What i quoted was descriptor F and not descriptor E!  You really do go out of your way to try to cause more arguments don't you. I give up! :s

Yes but descriptor E is relevant instead

The regulations have not been superseded. I quoted from the current version

They are of course open to interpretation, which takes us back to

"We've received the written report of your PIP assessment. We will write to you once we've made a decision on your PIP. As a guide you should hear from us within 8 weeks. You don't need to contact us unless any of the details you gave us have changed. Thank you."
I assume that this means that IAS has sent the report to DWP ?

Also looking to the worse case again
If I am not offered high rates on both mobility and care components - could you please confirm the complaints procedure?
Starting with the form to check on the assessment......to discover what the assessor actually wrote...
I really hope that this is not necessarily but prewarned is prearmed
You will be lucky to get anything at all, The majority of people on here get refused, Then it's the whole process of sending a Mandatory Reconsideration, If that's refused it's a Tribunal, I received 0 points from the Assessor, Currently waiting for a Reconsideration, Been waiting over 2 months now.
75% of claimants received an award and 29% received maximum mobility and care in 2021
Well I waited 11 weeks for a decision, Asked for a MR, Got given 2 points, Currently awaiting a Tribunal date, The whole process has been a year up to now for me.

OK just because you may have been treated unfairly - doesn't mean that anyone else will be

Will you be asking for a copy? Be interesting to see what the assessor has said.

I did and it was a load of absolute lies 😂 Don't know how a 'Nurse' can assess someone over the phone who has Autism and Anti social personality disorder, Baring in mind the assessment lasted 30 minutes, I'll be attending a Tribunal and I'm confident I'll win 😙

I asked for a Assesment report a few days later, And it arrived within 7 days, I guess it'll give you a rough idea of the points you will score.

    DWP or IAS

I called DWP Pip Enquiry line, I told them I've had an assessment and can I have a copy of the report, They should send it out in the post.

I have not had an assessment yet
Is the PA3 form not produced  until AFTER an assessment ?
Or does this imply that they won't assess me .. hopefully - and it has just been a paper exercise ?

A nurse is perfectly able to assess you, they are a healthcare professional.

They do not need to know anything about any condition as PIP is not awarded for a diagnosis.

They are assessing your functional ability in relation to the descriptors.

If you have had a text to say they have the report then yes it sounds like you have had a paper assessment.

You can call the PIP enquiry line and ask for a copy, they say it should arrive within 5 to 10 working days.

Why does it take 8 weeks to the next step??
Surely if IAS have made a decision (presumably both high) then they should let me know sooner?
And under what circumstances would the final result change?
