The report isn't aways returned straight away. Sometimes a report is chosen for audit. It's nothing to worry about, it just means that they are checking the assessor did their job correctly. The only downside is that is can delay the decision making process. The report will not be returned until the audit has been completed and there's no timescales for this. I've known a report be in audit for 6 weeks.

I'm glad that poppy123456 has been able to put your mind at ease a little @LOwens How are you feeling about your application?0

Thank you tori still a little nervous about it as they have sent me a text this morning to say they have now received my report off of DWP it’s just a waiting game now. They did say yesterday on the phone that they are ready to do the outcome as soon as they get the report back

I'm not sure how they would know that because you were speaking to someone from a call centre.

This is why I’m a little confused as they said this to me yesterday and then the text message to say that they have received the report back so confusing and really impacting my anxiety very badly 😔0

Increased anxiety is perfectly normal when waiting for a decision. I know it's difficult but try to concentrate on something else because it could be a while before a decision's made.

Do you mind me asking whether you're receiving any support for your anxiety at the moment @LOwens?
As poppy123456 has said, it's quite normal to feel anxious about the outcome, and the best thing is often to take your mind off of it until the decision is made. That being said, I can appreciate this can be much more difficult if you struggle with anxiety as it is.0
