Capita not listening!!

Hi, I applied for PIP on the 23rd February this year. I was advised that I would need an assessment, which they initially wanted to do over the phone. My friend contacted Capita on my behalf and explained that I struggle very much with communication via phone, so could we make a face to face appointment instead. This was agreed, but was miles away from where I live, (which I really wasn't expecting).
Having gone through the assessment, we waited for the decision from DWP. I scored 0 points, but when I received a copy of the report that Capita sent, I was absolutely dumbfounded, it was pretty obvious large parts of this report were nothing to do with me, e.g. I have never had an inhaler, let alone used one.
Mandatory reconsideration was the next step, however, I received a letter from Capita saying that I was to have a phone assessment, which they already know I cannot do. So I am being penalised for Capita's mess, and they are continuing to insist that I have a phone assessment, stating that another face to face (as requested) was declined, but they hadn't bothered to tell us that.
I feel like I am being harrassed and bullied into something they know I can't do. My friend has tried in vain to get them to understand how distressing this is and continues to be, and DWP say there is nothing they can do until Capita have got what they need.
Is there any point in making a complaint to Capita? From what I have read, they don't really care.
Any suggestions on how I can stop this never ending, merry go round of stress, distress and utter disbelief, would be greatly received. This has been going on for months now.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and apologies for it being so long.

It's very unusal to have to have another assessment for the MR. Usually a different decision maker looks at all the evidence again and comes to another decision. Unless the decision maker decided to contact Captia to ask them to do another assessment.Have you asked them the reason why another assessment is needed?0

Hi, I assumed it was because of the incorrect information about me contained in the report, so never asked.0
