Yes 83 is the magic number if all the opposition votes against. I don't think there's any hope that 83 Labour MP's will vote to inflict such a humiliating defeat on their own government; not now they have some concessions to cling to justify their votes in favour.

Yes re-clarified later after she goofed up during questions. I was just pointing out all her answers were not clear in the debate. Not surprising really, when you consider what a ruddy mess this has turned into. Not even the Minister can stay on top of the myriad of different proposals and concessions because it's so complicated.

I heard the shadow minister for work and pensions Danny Kruger this morning say they wanted it to cut down on MH with young people. Said the increase is 50% young with MH or something like that . He said instead Labour are hitting older people with physical conditions who Tory’s feel sorry for . I think that’s who it was . But I thought then I bet they vote against.

Jim Allister is of the TUV, a party which is like the Northern Irish branch of Reform/Farage, now if Conservative orientated parties like the DUP/TUV are against cuts then why can't Reform and the Tories be more supportive of disabled people?

Because they haven't made any concessions in regards to LCWRA, I think it means incomes protected for some years(for existing claimants) and by then there might be more transitional support before you lose it, if you can't claim daily living component of PIP.

is there going to be a three tier system then once the new pip assessment comes along?
Will existing PIP claimants go through this new assessment? And if so, will they be under the same rules as claimants from 2027?
Cause existing claimants don’t go by the 4 point rule, and it says on the new document:
- All existing PIP recipients will remain on the current system and the proposed changes to eligibility as part of the bill will only apply to new claims from November 2026.
