Having listened to Hillier's troop-rallying rhetoric there 🙄, I expect to see her on the front bench sooner than later. Who knows she it may even be the Hillier Review rather than the Timms' Review.

I can only imagine she's been offered something special to perform such a volte-face within mere hours.

I definitely had the same thoughts about some kind of promotion coming for her, if she helps get the bill over the line. The concessions are weak, temporary, and discriminatory against future applicants. The fact she's now dancing around urging her colleagues to bank what they've won is incredible.

It's like going on a game show where the top prize is £1million, and accepting the first offer of £100 to walk away - despite making a great start. They could easily push for more concessions, better concessions, if they stuck together. The government have even been briefing they don't rule it out. Crazy.

Aww happy you are a little worry free today ☺️really is no point is there lol worrying takes up valuable energy that I dont have at the mo. Catherine, I am picturing you trying to cut the hedge blinded by sweat 😁 its so blooming muggy today. Its really not helping the thrush in my mouth and throat, caused by mega doses of Antibiotics for weeks, no amount of slavering my tongue with natural yogurt or swilling Nystatin baby liquid round my gob is doing a thing 🤣😊

Catherine 21 has expressed deep despair depression anxiety, distress in a word.

    And

Also great strength, legal research shared strategies, given political updates, media articles, etc..

What I am saying is like me, she is vulnerable, 'weak' and strong.

Its not one or the other.

We must all thank mps who are fighting for us as they are under such pressure to conform and this week we must all write and remind the ones voting for it four years will fly and we will have the power and they will feel how we feel now scared for the future

I remember reading someone say they’re voting for the bill as they’ve saved their constituents. In other words their voters , not concerned with future disabled people. I could be wrong but it may of been Meg , though I can’t be sure. Either way that’s why they fought for us only , cos we threatened their seats . Maybe they didn’t feel a backlash from non disabled people.

Neither Kendall nor Timms on the front bench ….. so much for listening!!!

Who agrees they will be in the corridors of WM, bullying (Kendall) or bribing (Timms) first-termers into voting for their appalling bill?

Watching parliament tv , mps are speaking out against it

Tories against it because it not tough enough. Lots of Labour, Liberal s, independents are against it. Saying they are rushing it through, they need to consult disability groups. And start again. Balancing reeves disastrous budget. That disability people are paying the price

Hi Albus, I was wondering what scope and other organisations are proposing for a fairer system as the system is broken it has been for many years and in reality there is not a continuing pot of gold for payments. Especially when people paying taxes is dwindling. The millionaire and billionaire are leaving the uk for pastures greener so they don’t have to keep contributing to such systems. I have been on PIP for some years and the system has always stressed me out and given me anxiety when it came to the assessment and reassessment. Is there really a better and fairer system or in reality will there always be winners and losers in the benefit system.

Hi @frozenpelvis Scope have put forward a number of campaigns in support of preventing cuts. 🙂 Most recently, we released the following in conjunction with a large number of other charities - Joint civil society statement on the UC & PIP Bill | Disability charity Scope UK. which will hopefully help answer your questions. Also, see Over 100,000 say no to benefit cuts | Disability charity Scope UK.
